Fitting external TV socket on caravan

    Mark, if a project takes me longer than an hour, I usually feel like I'm in over my head. However, I feel like after watching this, I just might be able to do something like this. Thank you!

    I’m not sure why you connected to the existing aerial unit in the cupboard for an external aerial. Presumably you want to use a site aerial to connect to your tv. Could you not have installed the external socket point and then wire it, direct, to an additional internal aerial socket position by the existing tv socket

      Hi , I use the external socket to plug in an external aerial and also sometimes use it for a tv in the awning, so in that case it uses the caravan aerial. I hope that makes sense

      HitchUpAndTow ah I though you were going to connect a site aerial to gain better reception. I have done similar and fitted and external plug with aerial connection so I can link to a site aerial , inside I fitted a new aerial socket. Just to avoid trailing a wire through the window. I fully understand nowthat your application is different from my initial thought. Thanks
