My father was attached to the Irish Rangers in. The 80s in Ballymena as they were called then. He still to this day says they were by far the best regiment he served with!

Why does some of the pipe band members wear orange kilts and not a tartan?

Tartan kilts tend to be their own where as the orange (saffron) ones are regimental kilts.
