All the while he's standing there going wtf human how did you get down there?) I rode a runaway who liked to play tricks for most of my childhood/teenage years. Tbh I think I had the meanest riding teacher on the planet. I was 6 when I started at the stable. Left at 13. I put up with it for quite a few years. She caused me to have mental scars and trauma to this day. One day I left my gloves to the barn, and when the lesson was beginning, I asked her if I could go and grab them. She went ''No. You left them there. You can go without them.'' She assigned me a pony that had a well known habit of stealing the reins and pulling her head out to make your grip slip. Thanks to her my palms were BLEEDING AND CUT UP by the end of the class. One day she assigned me A SHETLAND PONY for the class. Just out of spite. She knew I would have to ask for a trade since I was too heavy for it and had selfesteem issues. But she didnt give a shit. She would publicly loudly call out any fault I had and mistake I made and instead of helping me or correcting me, she'd scream at me like ''HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW THIS? ARE YOU STUPID?'' She was also well known for abusing the lesson-ponies if they misbehaved. Lets just say that every horse sold forward or sold to another stable, was reported to have been absolutely crazy and insane and misbehaving. She would take the whip and beat the shit out of the horses in the class if the horse misbehaved. Worst day so far was when she blamed me for making one of the horses almost choke and die? And it was NOT my fault. Some new kids went to the tackroom and got soft bread for the ponies without permission. They cave it all to their favorite. Poor thing almost chocked and died. But because I was outside sitting on a swing and vibing with the barncat, I was appearantly to blame? Oh and she let an ex-racehorse die out of neglect. She put it in an old un-used outside pen and the poor thing stepped on a bunch of rusty nails. Ended up dying a painful death because she wasn't vaccinated or checked by a vet etc. But yeah. To be honest to this day I cant go to the stables, cant talk to equestrians, cant even consider starting riding again because of the anxiety and fear of failure.Every time I see a cute horse and go ''Oh thats cute'' I get kinda mad at myself in order to protect myself from the painful memories and hurting? Okay but why is this entirely accurate to my past riding teacher? 😂 it was frustrating cause she always pointed out everything I did wrong and yelled at me for it, but she never said anything when I did something right. Luckily we switched barns and I’m at a much better place with much nicer people and horses!
The ”But did you die?” UGH MY TRAINER SAYS THAT ALL THE TIMEEEEEEE
This brings back old memories
My old trainer would sometimes be like this (RARLEY) but she would mostly say when my elbows were unbent "bend ur elbows chicken little" I laughed so hard 🤣
I say some of these things to my students😂
HAHAHA 😂 If they ever complain just show them this video and say, "See i'm not THAT bad..."
"Please fall off I'm trying to loose a bet with your mom." I can't!
I had a trainer like this (lucky I’ve switched barns) and now I second guess everything I do
Why do I relate to this one on a personal level? 😂
