I think people most likely thought this because in S1 she said something about wondering what it was like to have sex with Verosika, but I don’t think that meant that she was bi, just curious because Blizø is Blitzø and Verosika is a pop star

@@francosaglio3640 i am asexual and the ase community does not like being told this. It comes off as invalidating our identity. Some people learn more about themselves and change their personal lables. And some people know there are asexual as teenagers and never need to relabel themselves.
I know saying maybe she with explore herself and find she is a different orientation sounds like the type of common dismissal the rest of the LGBT community gets. For the asexual community we often have to defend ourselves from other branches of the LGBT community invalidating our issues. After the trans community the asexual community has the hight rate of conversion therapy.
It isn’t the biggest deal because she is a fictional character but maybe don’t say it to a teenage with an asexual flag in person.

ace mammon weirdly makes sense??? i'm pretty sure in his episode when he mentioned the fizz robots and how you can have sex with them he says "if you're into that" which implies that he probably isn't into that. also i think he hates people unless they make him money. octavia being ace was more expected though. honestly i just love the asexual representation in the hellaverse. (i could never forget about the funny radio deer demon man)

Honestly it’s bs to just sit on the fence about a characters romantic orientation just to appease the shippers who wouldn’t care anyway.

You gotta love how this show and the hellaverse in general is incredibly inclusive toward all sexualities and genders. But they don’t do it in a smug way that’s awkward, in the sense that it’s their entire personality and they’re assholes about it. It’s really nice to see the crew do this for pride month :)
... That's the point. The characters sexuality are just a part of them and not the whole personality. That's The power of good writing. And not having to rely on a big business that will either surprise lgbtq representation are market terribly to them

Absolutely floored at the sheer amount of pansexual representation. Cause like, it's already rare enough to get bi characters, to see a whopping EIGHT characters in there (if I counted correctly) that are explicitly pansexual, that just... I never would have imagined. I say of myself that I am pansexual but bi for generalisation purposes. And the fact that the term you most often hear in fiction (if even any at all) to describe someone attracted to more than one sex, is "bisexual", plays no small part in that.
