Very touching. Spent 20 years in the Navy myself and stationed on-board three aircraft carriers and two frigates. Made countless deployments during my service and my wife and two kids (daughter & son) were there waiting for me on the pier every time. A very satisfying and wonderful feeling to have your family and kids waiting for your arrival after 6 months of deployment. Always had teary-eyes after embracing and hugging them tightly on the pier. Our two kids (34 & 39) now have their own family. We sometimes watch a few old videos about our family's togetherness during my active duty time when we have family gatherings with our two grandkids. Thanking the Lord for keeping me safe and sound from the time I joined the Navy until my retirement in Oct 1992. God bless America!!!

Operared mainly by the Air Force it has rhe ability to carry both equipment and personnel in large scales for all branches of ous military. I spent 20 years in the Air Force as a military cop and on many occasions hot to see these aircraft taxi in and out od rhe flight line.

Yes, it lets the men and women in uniform know that what they are doing is recognized by the most important people: The little guys. We used to come in from an operation in SE Asia, and find letters from kids in grammar school on our bunks. They were more encouraging that anything any politicians said.
I didn’t know my last flight was my last flight. Went to the doc and found out I had cancer. Never flew again. Beat it easy I had the best case scenario I was lucky. This video hits hard for me, I know what it means to fly in the military. That last flight is a right of passage and to have it made incredibly special like this including a minor child in a crucial role where they legally cannot be…speaks volumes about the entire team that made this special moment happen. The respect, camaraderie roots deep. Bless you, bless all who served.

One of my favorite memories was doing that with my dad on his last flight before we moved. It is a lot of fun.

These are the unexpected opportunities that make what a person goes through worth the time inbetween.
Yes, it lets the men and women in uniform know that what they are doing is recognized by the most important people: The little guys. We used to come in from an operation in SE Asia, and find letters from kids in grammar school on our bunks. They were more encouraging that anything any politicians said.
I didn’t know my last flight was my last flight. Went to the doc and found out I had cancer. Never flew again. Beat it easy I had the best case scenario I was lucky. This video hits hard for me, I know what it means to fly in the military. That last flight is a right of passage and to have it made incredibly special like this including a minor child in a crucial role where they legally cannot be…speaks volumes about the entire team that made this special moment happen. The respect, camaraderie roots deep. Bless you, bless all who served.
