That spanner tool is for the sights for an AR/M16/M4. The MUT is a great tool for EOD, Sea Bees, Military Engineers. It has tools for cleaning the M4 chamber and can be connected to the bore brush and patch puller.
Excellent information. It still has quite a few tools that will be useful for the kind of engineering my son is doing which is more on the electrical side. Thank you
Leatherman makes some top notch multitools. I've carried a Leatherman daily at work for the last 20 years. Currently I carry a super tool 300 and really love it. They are super handy to have and love they make a size and configuration for just about every need. Great video 👍
Very much so. I love my micro and my wave. They are great. Just really enjoy having multiple tools with me at the same time. You never know what you're going to need. Thanks
Nice KC. I just got a Winchester Winframe multitool from Chicago Knife Works, with a great set of spring loaded pliers, 10 bits and a nylon sheath, for $8.72! It's heavy, sturdy n rugged! Have a great weekend!👋
Nice unboxing. The mut is designed as a firearms maintenance tool first and foremost. Most of the tools and attachments are designed to be used for maintenance and cleaning. Lots of other uses as well though leatherman makes great multi tools it should last a very long time. Keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.
Depending on what he wants for a size of scissors, the Raptor or the new SOG Shears are great. I've got the Raptors and they work wonderfully. The SOG that came out though use the same powerassist system that's on their multitool that multiplies your grip strength for cutting (or gripping in the case of the pliers)
@@kjpierson1152 Well I think he was originally just wanting to make sure it had scissors but then when he saw the wire cutters and strippers he was sold
@@KnivesFAST Ah that would do it. One thing he can watch out for, Leatherman is always adding "accessories". Which translates into tools you can add onto to your tool by removing others that are screwed in. Though the MUT looks odd enough, that the only ones you could remove are the saw/knife/punch.
sir that is a bit complicated leatherman. i'll just stick with my rebar. hehe. on the other hand i thought your micra will get a big brother. nice review! 👍
VERY disappointed that they include a Chinese-made sheath with this tool. Shame on Leatherman. They could have partnered with Tactical Tailor, another great American company, to produce this sheath. Rite in the Rain partners with them to create cases for their notebooks and writing gear. No excuse, Leatherman. Not buying this.
People come on your video and pick on you about it. It's all good. That's what happens when you do an unboxing sight un seen. I'll be ready in the review. Lol. Thanks
LOL...happens to the best of us! Thanks for giving us a look at the MUT! Have a good weekend KC!
Thanks JB. I'm a clutz so it's all good.

Awesome information. Thanks so much for sharing. It will still work for what he wants to use it for but that makes a lot of sense. Thanks

Those are great options for sure and we looked at both of them but it wasn't exactly what he wanted. Thank you for the information. Appreciate it
@@KnivesFAST No problem :D Wasn't sure what type of scissors you were targeting :D

@@kjpierson1152 cool info, thanks.
Ren and Stimpy, did he say no scissors !?!?!?! Very cool review and I like that MUT
Yeah no scissors on this one. Lol. Thanks so much for watching
Thats a great multitool man!
Yes I thought it was pretty cool. We shall see after a little bit of use

Interesting I think I will stick with the leatherman I have. I just don't want to go through the process of learning another one.
Oh I agree. I love my wave. This is for my son and I think it will be useful for him. Thank you

Yeah that's an interesting choice for sure. You can always get a leather sheath made in America and replace it. But thank you
When you don't know the names of tools
