Seguro Liam, lo envidia a ZAYN por que salió varias veces entre los más hermosos y guapos del mundo...con este comentario solo quiere ensuciar la reputación de ZAYN....
Probably why zayn left the group I think. Because you can see he is the most jealous and has hatred for Louis and zayn .Louis and zayn had a really close bond with each other . I have a feeling the member he was talking about having a physical fight with was zayn . He was maybe mean and rude to zayn and he had Simon Cowell to favour him all the time even though zayn was much better singer than liam he would give liam more parts than zayn and plus zayn was given no rights of creativity. But when harry and zayn got really popular especially harry . Liam was replaced by harry as the centre and more parts were given to harry and zayn that's why liam started to dislike zayn more . It's just my opinion I obviously don't know what really happened 😅

@@luvbxn because the majority of the fandom at the time consisted of very young teenagers. I was 13 at the time and was mad at Z for leaving, bc I simply couldn't fully understand such complex things as anxiety and discomfort as I idolised everyone in the band and put them on pedestal. I just thought he was ungrateful, which I now regret. Plus, in the beginning Zayn didn't outright say he faced such issues and made those statements later in years, so his motivation for many wasn't clear (besides the fact that he wanted to he out of spotlight)
Talking about his experiences within the band is okay, but talking about personal lives and upbringing is where he crosses the line. Especially since Zayn was the target of *so much* racism and islamophobia when he was in the band and none of them (to my recollection) said or did anything to defend him.
I remember zayn being very religious at that time. And he was targeted to most hate comments about the band. He used to talk about his heritage but he stopped shortly after that. And the fact that he doesn’t want anything to do with the band says a lot. Maybe they bullied him for that.

Okay but you have to understand that this was Simons doing- Liam was sooo young (they all were) and he probably almost always felt the pressure of being the best out of the group. I don’t blame him for feeling bitter about this, knowing that you’re the lead but somehow being outshined by the other members. Maybe if Simon would’ve crushed the whole lead idea after seeing that Liam wasn’t necessarily the favorite, things would’ve gone smoother

As a person of color did anyone find the way Liam talked about Zayn's upbringing as insensitive? He tried to make it sound like he was on his side but it was low key insulting.
It was backhanded af. He had no right to talk about his background like that. Really made my blood boil. Zayn's literally keeping to himself and he's here trying to impose like he knows better.
personally I think what he meant was that Zayn's parents weren't as supportive of his music career as his own were of his, but that probably simply means that they hoped their 17 year old son would finish school, maybe go to uni, and they weren't 100% on board with him risking his whole future to be in a boyband, which is perfectly understandable and doesn't have anything to do with race. my parents are white and they wouldn't even have allowed me to go to the xfactor in the first place because "music isn't a job"

So true, from the moment he decided to go on Lagan Paul's podcast he should have known there would be a lot of drama. I'm dissapointed, in 1d days Liam used to be that quiet, shy person that was always friendly, now he gives me different vibes.....
Logan isn't the problem here. It's a podcast asking questions/talking... if the ppl don't like a question they can ask to skip it. First time seeing this guy Liam, and he seems very off. Gave off to much of himself energy.
Amidst all of this, what made me the happiest was, zayn coming online, dropping his merch launch, minding his business, spreading awareness about and contributing to the End Gun Violence initiative and not giving a single eff about liam 😭 he knows his priorities and he has them set right. Love that for zayn. ❤️
Going to be pretty honest, and say that most of what Liam said wasn’t a big deal. He’s allowed to speak in his experience in a band and it’s naive to think a group of teen boys got on 24/7. The issues with what he said were speaking on other bad members story’s. He shouldn’t have spoken on zayns personal life at all.
A lot of One direction’s dirty laundry has been public knowledge by now. A majority of their suffering was due to horrible management that overworked them and boiled them down to one characteristic. Liam should just focus on his own life, not meddling in his former band mates lives.
It is true, Liam was the “lead” of the band. But like you said, Harry was the favorite & other members almost always outshined him.. to the point that we forgot Liam was the lead
Yes! I remember the X-factor days when Liam was the "leader". I think he worded it badly but it is true that the group was created after Simon did not want to eliminate Liam. If I remember correctly, Harry had previous experience in a band before X-factor, while Liam had always been a solo singer. Their experiences became extremely clear on stage with Harry being the better stage lead. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some jealousy and bitterness from Liam, but I also believe that he does truly want all the members to do well and be happy.
@@roka745 I know right? By the way he talks I feel like he may feel bitter about it, even to this day! Seeing how everyone’s solo career went compared to his. I do feel bad for him though, I think Simon put him in a position where Liam felt like he either was the best or had to be.
Was never a directioner but all my friends are and they’re so upset at him. He also talked about 5SOS in the past tense like they’re not pushing 11 years together as a band while still being best friends AND still touring while he’s just bitter and alone 🥴 Side note: fave song from Harry’s House is Music for a Sushi Restaurant 😌
Now I understand why Zayne left the band. With each members having these strong individual personalities and then forcing yourself to work with them might be the most exhausting thing you can do.
One thing that I really hate about this drama is that they never liked each other and that is 100% okay. People keep saying about tarnishing memories but those memories are lies because in reality they never liked each other. Why isn't it okay for people to just not like each other and be honest about it since when did that become a crime
I think it’s ok to grieve those tarnished memories, but like anything you grieve you have to accept it and move on. You can’t just be stuck in the first stages of anger and denial forever. It is kind of sad because I was lonely as a teenager and being part of the fandom filled in the void of not having many friends. I do admit it’s really sad they were unhappy but I’m more pissed off at how kids are exploited in the music industry. I’m 22 now and I get mad thinking about how these 16-17 year old kids were used. It was different when i was 13-15 myself, I was young and I didn’t think about the implications of things. Now I’m older, and tbh even if it hadn’t all come out I think I would have had a feeling it was like that. Because come on. People should be redirecting their anger to other places

I don't understand how what Liam said needs to have racist connotations. Parents not being super supportive of a music (or artistic) career isn't that big of a deal and it isn't limited to a specific ethnicity. @@alankritiii7209 I'm not saying he wasn't subjected to racism, he was. I just think what Liam said meant to be racist at all. Also he didn't say anything negative about Zayn's parents, he just said their approach to their son's career was different from his own parent's approach, that doesn't mean "they're better/worse parents". He didn't say Zayn was raised in a toxic or abusive environment or anything, and as I said, parents not being 100% ob board with their children embarking on an artistic career isn't much of a surprise and it doesn't make them bad parents, artistic careers are unstable and one does risk their whole future when going down that career-path. If Zayn's parents thought it'd be better for him to have a more stable job it doesn't make them bad parents, just parents who love their son and worry about him, as all parents do.

Not a 1D fan, didn't like their music, etc., but I'm a K-Pop fan and what most fans of groups don't realize is how normal it is that the group members aren't necessarily friends. It's just a group of artists that were thrown in one group. Either they become friends or they'll stay colleagues. That's why all the fan service is so dangerous. Fans fall in love with an illusion, but as soon as they'll get to know about the reality their bubble bursts and they'll take it personally. A good advice: enjoy someone's artistry, but always remember that you don't know the real person, just the persona. I can name a few groups where members had a rough start, but ended up being friends. Sometimes it takes time, but sometimes it just doesn't work.
Excellent comment. Side note: the boys were friends in the band. Also Louis and Liam made it. Now, Zayn and Louis are the only ones who don’t get along. But Liam was always there for each of them.
I used to be a directioner but turned into an army, and yeah, not every group is gonna be friends, even if they seem to have strong friendships. Sometimes they fake friendships and don’t have a strong bond behind the cameras.

The wrong things are being pointed out, the only main tea was; - Liam talking about Zayn's past in a negative light. - Liam cheating on his fiance. If he got into fights with the other band mates he is allowed to talk about his experience, tea spill can cover it but she needs to set a non bias approach about it. "tarnishing memories" is not a reason for someone to get hate, the other stuff is fair but him talking about his band mates is not for us to silence.
To be honest, when I was a huge fan of the band One Direction, Liam was the one I could never remember. My list usually went Harry, Zayn, Louis, Niall, and then I'd forget there even was another person half the time.
"He's really trying to ruin our memories of one direction" idk that kinda sounds like a you problem 😭,it's been 11 years and if you honestly still think it was sunshine and rainbows for them during that entire band run that's just 12 year old stan mentality 💀. I don't agree with some of the things he said in the interview but lmao some of y'all cannot handle the truth
@rxy EXACTLY! like don't get me wrong I love 1D but some of these fans love to scream they want that 1D tell all, well Liam just gave a taste of what it would be like and honestly they are not ready
You know I always use to feel bad for Liam he was always the one left out when it came to talking about one direction and I know he had opened up about all the pressure that was placed on him by the management to make sure the others boys weren't messing about but the way he has been acting is disgusting and people need to stop defending this behavior he is a grown ass man not a teenager people need to hold him accountable. Plus who can hate Louis? That man is legitimately the most sweetest down to earth artists there is even non fans that have met him say he's super sweet and chill to talk to.
Wasn't a huge of 1D but personally, the guys not being close doesn't really come off as a surprise because by the end of the day, it still was just work. Even some kpop groups admit they're not particularly close with other members. Not defending him from the rest but those parts aren't as big of deal to me
Tbh I thought so too but since harry has incredible self control ( he was put on so many situation where I would’ve straight up committed crimes but he didn’t even raise his voice) so it must have been something incredibly serious.
I don’t think that some of the shit he said was probably okay but the whole “but did we need to know that?” And “ruining memories” gives the same energy of hiding things. There’s nothing wrong with being out and open about certain things. Some stuff ofc, wasn’t necessary, but something’s, are whatever to talk about.
This should be a wake up call to you and all the drama channels like you. Please delete this video- These videos you make are cruel. I don’t care whether you have fair use. You and tons of other people all target the same person at the same time and bully them mercilessly, twist their words and are totally unforgiving of what they are going through or experiencing as a human being. I actually thought recently I wouldn’t be surprised if he kills himself because who can deal with this level of hatred. I feared for somebody like Jesy Nelson too. RIP Liam
Honestly, I feel really bad for Liam. I think he’s just had enough. And honestly, nothing he said was shocking. Nothing Liam said made me go “omg I’m so shocked and this has changed my perspective on one direction”.
When I think of 1D I instantly think: 1. Harry 2. Zayn 3. Louis and Niall/Liam tie for last. Liam must've been hecka bored to start drama that nobody even asked for
The only media move he experienced the past year was getting engaged and now cheating on that poor girl. It's obvious he's not interesting at all and he tried to change the perspective by dragging his former band mates.
I feel like when people take up a portion of your life, especially when you're growing into adults together, you're allowed to speak your mind on them. He wasn't saying anything bad necessarily, he was speaking from his own point of view with people he had to be around with a lot of the time.
@@kenkl123 yeah when zayn has said some 700 times that his parents were extremely supportive of him idgaf abt what liam payne has to say when the person he's talking about clearly didn't want that to be said or is not true
I think these interviewers took advantage of him. He was getting drunk and they knew that. What Liam did up saying wasn’t horrible. They were kids. They wouldn’t have gotten along all the time. I think they are still friends, some more than others, but they have an experience that is unique and they can’t undo. Louis and Liam especially are great friends and did a ton of writing together. People need to chill. If you look at old footage, they did think he would be the leader, but it doesn’t matter anymore. Let this go.
I get that one direction fans are shocked by these info’s and probably sad. But by saying „it should have been kept in private“ it sounds to me like „no thanks we don’t want the truth“. IF it is true, I would want to know as a fan. And for those how doesn’t, sorry but there is not always the perfect solution for everyone. I think truth is always improving.
Probably the thing that upsets me the most about this interview is the fact he said that 5SOS "DID pretty well..." as if to mention they're not longer in the industry or... Like yes bitch, they did the best they could having to pay the half of their revenues to you for the songs, albums and tours they put their hearts, time and effort into, but since their not longer giving him anything, they just DID something.
@@Raay.90 basically they "invested" in them as an project or a tributable association, and 5SOS had to give them half of their earnings until 2018, but it wasn't equitative for all the boys, Louis and Liam were the ones earning the most out of it.
Liam is acting to snobby for someone that is basically an influencer at this point. The way he had to collab with Dixie on a song for streams, the fact that he was on LOGAN’S podcast and how Tik Tokers are tweeting about how he is at parties
I’m not a fan or anything, so coming from outside I don’t think this was a big deal and it’s okay for him to say his part. He’s not responsible for anyone’s memories or whatever, particularly if they are at his expense. The family part of the other member was the only thing I thought it was out of place. I also didn’t think he said anything to impress the host, it seems more like he just wanted to talk about his side of things 🤷🏻♀️
The dude blamed his kid for ruining his relationship with Cheryl Cole, like he completely ignored his own toxic and childish behaviour and decided to blame his own child. Guys a joke.
I was never a One Direction listener; I was older by the time they came around and they always looked and sounded like children to me. And while this guy sounds petty with 90% of this shit, he also doesn’t owe anyone the facade of he and his band members being close. If it’s true that there were bad dynamics, he’s allowed to be honest about that. Why lie? So a bunch of immature fans can sleep at night? It’s a band. Get over it.
im not a fan either, the only thing that’s weird to me is digging this up after years cause that kinda seems like shitstirring, and mainly just talking about zayn’s personal issues without zayn saying he wanted them out there
what I’ve seen most fans being angry at was that Liam mentioned zayn’s upbringing when zayn himself has never talked about it, his upbringing has nothing to do with the band, so it’s not liam’s place to speak of it 🤷♀️
I don't think it's the fans being entitled here. It's just sad that he has to badmouth the others because he doesn't have a successful career. The fact that he was even ON Logan Paul's podcast is kinda sad, tbh. I say this as someone who listened to 1D casually. I was never a huge fan. But this is just kind of pathetic.
I’ve always thought Liam was kinda an asshole and so i’m not surprised about all of this being unfolded. I have such a soft spot for Zayn. Ik he’s had his rude moments but he seems like a good person. I never agreed with people attacking him for leaving the band. He went through so much.
He was throwing shade at Harry, taking jabs at Zayn and even mentioning his private life with Gigi while he was cheating on his fiancée, said he has the best music career among his ex band mates while he only made one good song that ended up being forgotten after a month or so. IRRELEVANT!
Literally. Liam is the only irrelevant and non-talked about ex 1D member. I find it so funny how he seriously thought he outsold everyone else with this debut single.
No because Liam ran his mouth big time- like you did this for what sir? ✨attention✨ Half of the shit he said about Zayn was confusing and barely made sense. Simply embarrassing. Edit: just remembered that this is someone’s dad🧍🏽♀️
It feels like he's salty that the other members have managed to make a brand image of their own to the point where people don't need to know 1D to necessarily know them whereas he is still clinging on to that one song that got views because his 1D fans were supportive about his first solo work.
I completely agree with you Destroying the good image fans had from the band just to impress Logan Paul looks so bad for him. I thought doing a song with Dixie was the lowest his career could go but having to go on Impaulsive to brag about fake facts and talk about your band mates private lives is lower.
There's always drama in every boy band. "Ruined our memories of the band" they've been ruined for years. It just comes out slowly or all at once. Oh and there's always one band member that just releases everything.

I’m not a person of color, but I did feel like what he said wasn’t right and totally uncalled for. Very disrespectful.
personally I think what he meant was that Zayn's parents weren't as supportive of his music career as his own were of his, but that probably simply means that they hoped their 17 year old son would finish school, maybe go to uni, and they weren't 100% on board with him risking his whole future to be in a boyband, which is perfectly understandable and doesn't have anything to do with race. my parents are white and they wouldn't even have allowed me to go to the xfactor in the first place because "music isn't a job"

Ok I have 😭 strip that down was my shittttt for a solid month back when it came out 😅 and the song he has with Zedd, Get Low, is so good. I’m not into much of the pop stuff that Harry styles does, or whatever zayn does. Have no idea what Louis has or is doing, same with niall tbh but I wasn’t a huge directioner, I just know I liked the big songs that Liam has out like those 2 lol.
as a hardcore directioner, this breaks my heart. nothing will replace the memories of 1D, but liam is no longer that person… and who he is now is honestly sad
That's just life babe, they're human too!
has any directioner responded? i love that the rest have been silent about the band members and this is exactly why. they all benefited from eachother like liam needs to stop.

How can he say Zayn is his brother when he made fun of the whole Yolanda situation
Damage control
I agree Zane’s been through a lot, especially through what Yolanda did to him. That’s why I said never forget that family that Judy had the family. They’re all scum and I’m proud of Zane. He is. He’s doing good for himself. You don’t need to be around people and bring him down.❤️❤️❤️✌️👍😃😀
as someone who wasn't a 1D fan but listened to their radio hits and had some friends who were big fans, I swore Zayn and Harry were supposed to be the leading members. Their voices were the most recognizable and they looked the most unique out of everyone in the band.
I don't know about leading the band but Louis' unique voice did make him sort of stand out as well. I guess Niall and Liam have been the ones left behind😅

As a Harrie,I can say that Zayn and Harry are on the same level of success, the only difference being,Zayn has kept himself more low-key. He releases songs for his audience, he hasn't been on tour, not has he done any talk show interviews.
Agreed
Agreed, just imagine zayn do the promotion more eagerly or on tour, that would be sick, but we all know that what zayn hate the most

“Jake IS ugly, BUt he’s not irrelevant” 💀💀
Correct
Good thing Backstreet Boys still stays together for about 20 something years now...
This should be pin 👌🏼
Excellent comment.
Side note: the boys were friends in the band. Also Louis and Liam made it. Now, Zayn and Louis are the only ones who don’t get along. But Liam was always there for each of them.
I used to be a directioner but turned into an army, and yeah, not every group is gonna be friends, even if they seem to have strong friendships. Sometimes they fake friendships and don’t have a strong bond behind the cameras.
niall and harry literally risked throwing up on national tv to avoid talking shade about the band, and liam made himself look like a fool and trying to back track😭
the fact that he had all the time in the world to go do a Logan Paul podcast tells me everything i need to know. I'm sure they wouldn't be able to even get Harry on the phone! but he's here saying he outsold them all 😂
1D was after my time but my little sister was OBSESSED with them. let me tell you, Liam is the one i could never remember. Literally my sister had to remind me of him every time. but yea, he's the face of one direction 😂
He is saying he outsold them?

@@StaceChristopher I have 2 sisters, we're all 8 years apart so i am 16 years older than my little sister but the one that was obsessed with them was my middle sister. She was 12 when they started, i was 20 and no longer living at home. So yea 1D was very much after my time. I knew of them and knew a lot of their songs because of my sisters. Because as our little sister grew she too became obsessed with them. So every time i would visit or hang out with them they'd play their music, but i was never a huge obsessed fan 🤷♀️

@@fairlysleepy it’s not because it was a while ago. Like I said: I was already *too old* for their music while they were active.
Honestly, it doesn’t bother me that he tarnished the idea that they weren’t brother and friends. We have to remember they went to the x factor auditions to be solo artists, they never intended to be in a boy band. In the end, it was always a means for them to start their careers. I’m not surprised at all they hated each other, even the best of bands have problems.
Directioner or not, we can all agree that what he done is very uncalled and disrespectful. Keep personal things private 😤
I mean... when I heard that lyric in his one song "I used to be in 1D, now I'm out free." I knew something was sketchy.
Ironic how he sung that but still brings up old and spoiled drama.
Im so embarrassed for this man. He was not even the most popular member when they started, not even the strongest vocals. And he's not really doing that well right now either. If he's having a shitty ass life right now, he should not bring the other members into this. Such an ass move, not even apologetic when majority of the fans are calling him out after that interview.
He was never a fan favorite
He has fans because he was on the group.
And the fact that out all the 5
Only he hasnt make it as a solo artist said it all.
He is just bitter and so jelous
You know they down BAD when they go on Logan Paul's podcast 💀
And even worse how he acts as he is the most famous one
He has never been a favorite member
No wonder he is so bitter
I don't know how liam said that, even his ex cheryl was disappointed for spoiling about their private relationship.
I remember my friend telling me she went to an early book signing of One Direction and the only two to acknowledge her were Harry and Niall. To me that says a lot.
It's not "tarnishing" an image if he's finally being honest. Sure its messy but absolutely none of this shocking. Put five random strangers in a pressure cooker environment and see how "brotherly" they'll be. Stop pearl clutching over the fact they didn't live up to your make believe fantasy. They are human.
I really feel for Zayn, I can't imagine what he must have gone through being the only brown guy in the band. Clearly the rest of the members didn't understand what he had to go through either. Commenting on his upbringing and saying that he is aggressive and problematic because of it is so messed up and straight-up racist.
Omg, not Liam trying make our memories bitter. It just feels like disrespect to my directioner heart. I really hoped that a reunion would come some day 😔

idk anything about 1D or Liam Payne but he has the right to talk about his experience, i don't agree with the things he said about Zayn but saying that he is "making our memories bitter" is really fucking selfish. It shows how people don't really care about artist but the image the pretend to be, i mean isn't obvious not everything is going to be all flowers and rainbows in a group of people? Just because you want to hold on to some fake image of the perfect friend group who were making their dreams come true together doesn't mean they have to. I'm sorry for the fans who now see that their idols are flawed people who have feelings and problems of their own but maybe they need a reality check.
"Do we really need to know this?" This isn't about you, is a person talking about their life and their experiences and he has all the right to do so, if you don't wanna know then don't watch the fucking interview.
I agree. To think that a group of people who are constantly together didn't have any kind of friction, arguments, or problems isn't realistic. Don't we argue and have ups and downs with our own family and friends? It's completely normal. I was never a 1D fan and I do think he's a little full of himself but I don't think people should be upset to find out that everything wasn't sunshine and rainbows. I mean come on people...
Coming from a 1D fan from way back in 2012, the band was seriously messed up and most of the fans has grown into adults and realized it’s just another boyband made for money. But Liam is just purely selfish and tried to stir drama up for NO REASON. It wasn’t always rainbows and sunshine back when the band was still active. Shit happened back then and fans knew. But he didn’t need to mention unnecessary drama that wasn’t known before.
@@fairlysleepy I don't see it as shit stirring. He's talking about his experiences and struggles being in the band. 1D broke up so many years ago. Idk that I agree with the idea that he’s “ruining the memories” I would hope that the people that were fans of the band are old and mature enough now to acknowledge that he’s an adult and is in every right to air his grievances with things he most likely was contracually unable to talk about while he was in the band. I feel like people being able to get their stories out there will always be more important than “protecting the good memories”
Exactly. They shouldn't have to sugarcoat their experiences just to protect fan's false perceptions of them.
Could the Zayn and Yolanda situation have been handled better? 100% yes. But she has no reason to be putting GiGi and Zayn’s child in the public eye, especially since they’re both private people.
Wait they had to pay him money! Why?

He's still a shit person with a big ego, he's not supposed to be airing out someone else's problems
im not a fan either, the only thing that’s weird to me is digging this up after years cause that kinda seems like shitstirring, and mainly just talking about zayn’s personal issues without zayn saying he wanted them out there
what I’ve seen most fans being angry at was that Liam mentioned zayn’s upbringing when zayn himself has never talked about it, his upbringing has nothing to do with the band, so it’s not liam’s place to speak of it 🤷♀️
I don't think it's the fans being entitled here. It's just sad that he has to badmouth the others because he doesn't have a successful career. The fact that he was even ON Logan Paul's podcast is kinda sad, tbh. I say this as someone who listened to 1D casually. I was never a huge fan. But this is just kind of pathetic.
That is not the point. The point is that he’s bringing this up after YEARS
1 direction= Zayn and Harry Styles
Ur so right lmao
I read an article about the same and honestly I was like wow he graduated from the Clown School
I’ve always thought Liam was kinda an asshole and so i’m not surprised about all of this being unfolded. I have such a soft spot for Zayn. Ik he’s had his rude moments but he seems like a good person. I never agreed with people attacking him for leaving the band. He went through so much.
Zayn tweeted about it too. Something along the lines of: “brothers? You never were or will ever be my brother man.”
I completely agree with you
Destroying the good image fans had from the band just to impress Logan Paul looks so bad for him.
