WOW!!! Thankyou so much! Finally able to cut the edge neatly 🥰
you are welcome , I am glad that you have benefited from our channel ❤
great video! i use this method too! i really need to make a compensation pad so i don’t damage the spine!
Nice!!! I've gotta say, the tools are getting less and less intimidating as I watch these. I CAN DO THIS!!!
Certainly, you can
Just try and do it!! 👍
How do you manage to sharpen this chisel ?
Thanks for joining us on our humble channel
For the tool i use the sandpaper to sharpen all kinds of chisels ❤
what is the name of that blade you use?
I use wood Chisel 🥰🥰🥰
Every time I have seen this done in a book binding video it seems like an unecessarily large section is cut off. Is there a problem with making this strip as thin as possible?
Yes, i totally agree with you, but the problem is that we don't have a sustitute..
i've tried the glass paper to soften the papers but the result wasn't quite satisfying ( as good as this one)
Still trying to find a better on ❤
@@bookbindingandmarbling4211 Does it just not work with a thinner strip?
@@alexeng19 generally i cut strips of 0,5 cm but i can make it thinner with a sharper blade
