Includes the emotional arrival and display of the Red Arrows, a little over 2 weeks since they had lost their colleague Flt Lt Jon Egging in a flying accident after the Bournemouth Airshow.

Really miss Leuchars airshows
2011? Incredible!
Oh I remember when your videos had that particular kind of sound. Love how the recordings have this kind of warmth on every noisy pass!
We miss so many of our amazing aircraft today
Hi. This is such a well presented channel. Normally improvements are seen over the years but this one has always been of very high quality. I wonder if sometime you could do a quick bit to camera about the kit that you use, maybe how that has evolved over the years? There's clearly a lot of skill as well as the technology going into the camera work, the on site audio and the subsequent post production. Best wishes. Bob.
The Tonka's were always amazing to see...
remember that day
I was at this show, the weather the day before was so much better, it was sunny but incredibly windy, so much so the airsock on the runway was parallel to the ground.
Show day the weather was dreadful, The Grippen took off then did one pass and landed, it was horrendous, one really beefy downpour, people had to shelter under the grandsatnds or wings of the static park--it was brutal. Really tough for all concerned in the air or on the ground.
Photography was a major challange, and always is at Leuchars, if it`s sunny, it`s in the crowds face, if it`s raining or very overcast, there`s barely enough light to get any decent photos.
The Red Arrows display was very emotional, hats off to all the pilots who braved horrible conditions and put on a great show over all.
I was disappointed with the Typhoons all doing max climbout`s at the end, from mid runway to the road end, you didn`t get a lookin, as they all went straight up and were gone, would have been good to have at least a few keep it low over the runway full length and then give it the beans.
Getting out was a disaster as ever, the boggy ground didn`t help. Took me 5 hours to get out, yeah 5 hours-good job the B+B was only a 10 min drive away--I should have walked down really, but not in that weather.
Great video thanks ❤
Tornado, wow
When we still had an RAF
All right, let's get into this.
2023, we still miss the Vulcan
man the gripen is such a badass looking air craft too bad it doesnt get bought by many nations since the f35 and f16 are just better bang for buck
