Thank youuu soo muchhhh eliseeee with the help of your videos I started ukelele a month and half ago and I do cleans transitions, know many different complex strumming patterns, can sing along and play almost 15 different songs now and have gotten so much positive feedback from everyone and have been called basically a professional by many music majors. Owe it all to you 🥰

This video is so heartwarming ❤️. I just wanted to say I'm really thankful for Elise! I learned playing the uke 2 years ago by watching her videos 😁 at that time I didn't even understood her well because my english was really pour (still not good enough though). Now I feel really happy watching people going through the same process as I did.
And if you're still reading this, I just wanted to say DON'T FEEL DISCOURAGED by the people who post learning videos... Everyone is learning differently and maybe you just need more time. Also the girl who did the 6 months progress had a guitar in a background so it's pretty possible she already knew guitar and just switched to uke which is easier than starting from zero.

With my ukulele, I got it about 3 years ago when I was 10 years old, and I had planned to learn Grace Vander Walls song “I don’t know my name”. I had practiced the chords in my head, watched a UA-cam video and air played it before I even got my ukulele. When I got it I was a bit rusty but I surprisingly picked it up very quickly. I didn’t have a teacher so I bought a ukulele book and watched a couple videos. Now you can hand me some cords and I can play them. I play and sing with my ukulele all the time and it is my favorite instrument that I play. I love your videos! One of your videos popped up in my recommended section about a year ago and I have been watching ever since.

I've been playing for 3 months and I know 17 songs and are learning 3 more it just comes easy to me, I'm starting to learn even harder chords like bar chords. The first song I ever learn was "Party favor" by Billie Eilish with your tutorial. And I learned that sing and was able to play it in about a week.
Practice makes perfect! ☺️ it's nice to see how much dedication people have!

I started playing the ukulele because of you, I had 7 years of guitar experience so it made it a bit easier lol. I went to go visit my grandma at the cemetery a few months ago and I took my ukulele and played and sang a song for her in Spanish. I think she heard it 😊
