These dd requirements do my head in. It’s like companies/people actively chose the option that causes most inconvenience these days for people in all aspects of life
They aren't complicated. Paypal sets one up for free pretty quickly and moneybox is also fairly quick and doesn't actually cost you anything. As the money taken out goes to a saver fund which you can withdraw from
Does leaving £2000 in the account count toward the switch requirements? Do they strictly need £2000 moved in/out monthly or is that unnecessary if the balance is 2000 and above
Does adding the card details of a 2nd Chase account on the Current Account Switch Service (CASS) form close off the card? Asking because the card in my Chase app seems to be for the whole account, not tied to one specific account. Also, how does this affect future switches?
After receiving the money from the switch, can I cancel the 3 direct debits and move them elsewhere if I still want to keep the account open with all its perks, especially the regular saver and Disney plus?
Shouldn't do no because interest is normally calculated daily. If you have one that pays yearly they will pay the interest up to the date you close that account but check with your provider first
I just opened the account with the club account £3 a month. Didn't want to switch everything as saw the offer applies to switching 3 active. How do I switch this and still get the offer. I need wait for my activation letter before I can log in
Open Chase bank account and in that account you can create many account you want and switch from one of them, you will still have Chase, keep at least one account in Chase in order the account maintain
This looks slightly more complicated for existing Club Lloyds account holders who don't want to downgrade their existing account. Looking at the app it says you can only have one personal Club account. It then says if you want to open another one go into branch. Slightly contradictory but I can't open a Club Silver or Platinum from the app. I think I might wait for the next Halifax offer instead.
I currently have a platinum account with Lloyds ( not club Lloyds) would it work if I open a new club Lloyds platinum account and then switch everything in to there from my original platinum account before closing ?
Hello I switched from Chase to Lloyds but they told me i was not eligible because i did not have three direct debits Of which i have three direct debits from money box from different accounts and they said its one direct debit not three How do you deal with this?
Alright so do I have to wait for the Direct Debits to have been paid once before I can switch or can I just switch while they're registered on my account
I finally got the answer, wait for your Direct Debit to pay out first and then start your switch. I asked customer service and they have confirmed that if the DD isn't active you don't get the claim.
Once you completed switch successfully, say for instance, your stop or move those DD s or 1 if the DD, would that matter? A big doubt about switching. I switched 1stD in July, thinking of moving one of the DD from there to another dummy account. Hope it won't be a problem.
@@liamtree1250 Alright so I should probably explain. I set up these random DDs and they are on the account, but they have not yet received 1 pay out yet. So will the switch and claim still work, or do I have to wait for them to payout once

Moneybox, plum, charities.
@@BruceWayne-yc4yu I’ll look into the money box one and try that, cheers
Would a kalarna pay in 3 constitute for a active direct debit. If 1/3 of the debt has been payed on the dummy account ?
Yes
If I have an existing basic club lloyds, can i then open one of the two premiums and do the switching?
Yes
I am not sure you are correct by stating RBS. RBS is not the same as the Bank of Scotland
yes, RBS is Natwest, think he got it confused with Bank of Scotland which if Halifax/ Lloyds

Thanks for the video. Why is Revolut ruled out as a switch option?
we can't do switch from revolut! 😢
I’m only 9 months into my Fordt Direct switch. If I switch from FD to Lloyds, will I lose the 7% interest on the FD regular saver?
Well yeah. Set up an account with Chase bank and set up ''dummy'' accounts.

I don't know why you did a grimace at the gourmet card option! I go to Nero every day and get 25 percent off my coffee which is great.
If my existing bank is Monzo, will this still work?
does the monzo work? what aboit revolut?
Monzo works, revolut doesn’t

Is NatWest eligible??
Did you find out??
Can I switch from TSB?
would i still receive the switch bonus if i switched before the end date but the switch completed after the end date??
Yes as long as you start the switch before the end date you will get the money

You don’t need to deposit any money to be eligible for the switch offer right? As long as you pay the £3 monthly account fee right?
You can immediately downgrade Club account to basic free account in the app.
And you don’t need deposit any money, received switch bonus within an hour
Can you cancel the direct debits when the Lloyds account is open and bonus received?
Yeah. This is what I did 😅

Yeah as soon as you get the money you can stop the DDs. I've done that many times.
@@richfrommitch great! Thank you
If you have a weekly direct debit does that only count for one direct debit?
Yeah, you can set up direct debits to charity some accept £1 DD and cancel once switch is completed
Can you get this 3 times? 1 join and 2 personal for myself and wife?
Only personal accounts
Do the direct debits have to be paid before i do the switch or an they just be registered in my account and I can do it without having to worry
