It seems that Entergy Texas makes it look easy in comparison. But with that said, I not know at what level Entergy's lines got damaged compared to Center Point's lines.
Me when I have no clue what deregulation means and use it wildly because I don’t realize that wind, trees, and power lines don’t mix well in the physical world because I’m a boomer that can’t open a pdf:
Centerpoint certainly has it's problems, but sometimes they act like there was over 2,000,000 customers affected and only a few thousand lineman to fix it all. But what do I know.
Classic... It's just the start of summer, man, I'm stocking up on popcorn 🍿. Between the stupidity in Texas and Florida, I'm going to be very entertained. Life in the MAGA paradise 😎
Y'all seem to forget that until 1981, Texas was a blue state. Then, in the 1980's is was a battleground state that went blue again from 1990-1994. It wasn't until the Bush family moved here in 1995 that it started to go conservative, and the state is still 40-46% blue depending on the candidate. Texas Moderate Women will vote Democrat if the candidate is right.
This is not a third world dump that you may be used to.. We pay lots and lots of money and want a product that works. We don't want to see companies make 6 billion in profit every year, but not invest in their infrastructure. Centerpoint spends less than any other power company in texas for clearing trees and branches around their lines. They werent prepared and their greed came back to bite them.
@@xtruthx what could stop whole trees from falling on power equipment in 80mph wind, genius? Burying the lines isn't the answer you think it is. Get a grip.

Deregulation of the energy companies in Texas has caused more power outages, lack of care in repairs and total incompetence in the last 3-4 years

Profit over everything!
Exactly. DEREGULATION HAS CONSEQUENCES
Nope. We got flooded with people from California, New York, Michigan, and Appalachia for the last 20 years. We're overpopulated.
My neighbor has a line down in his yard and it too was reported to Centerpoint Energy and my no one has came out thus far.
It's live, you can hear it buzzing in the video
Do you have power? Lines down on the ground probably not.
Call Amy Davis. She’s fierce

Texas is the new Florida. All the people from California who just moved here are probably thinking it’s time to move back
wtf are you talking about 😂

Uh, just stay away from them? The demonizing of the power company from this channel is getting ridiculous. How many videos now, 10-20?
Oh and when they are in the middle of the road what now? Slow.
@@2900Cherriezz still stay away from them, you are slow. 👍
