Actual reason why he got canceled: There was an episode called "rude removal", this episode is when dexter made a machine that would split himself into a rude and nice version of him, his sister got both of them in the machine and they made 2 Dexter's and her sister, when the rude ones got out, they started swearing a lot, making they're mother mad, and destroying they're lab, at the end they destroy the rude versions and the mother is really mad not knowing what happened.
