Christopher Robin has left his (crossbreed?) friends in pursuit of becoming a doctor, causing them to go feral with hunger and eat Eeyor, and their violence continues on as a group of young adults are staying at an AirBNB in the 100 Acre Woods. I didn't get around to seeing this movie last year, so I figured with the sequel coming up soon I'd give it a watch and share my thoughts... yay...

I thought this would have been better done as horror/comedy. As in Pooh trying to help people but accidentally getting them killed or accidentally killing them himself and then going, "Oh bother." And they totally messed up Piglet, who was always a Very Small Animal. Besides, if they needed to eat someone or something, why not one of Rabbit's friends or relations, of whom he had several.

I would watch your Winnie the Pooh movie.

That's what I always had the idea to think just have it be where Pooh kills someone and then he stands looks at the body and says *"Oh bother...."* And just have him walk away.

Wasted potential. Someone should have gotten stuck in a tunnel, had a tail nailed on, fall in a heffalump pit trap, get lost in the woods and only realize it because of finding their own footprints before seeing Pooh in the trees mocking them. It’s all literally in the source material and I haven’t even exhausted the first book.

I’m painfully reminded of Morbius getting a re-release because Sony misunderstood memes

sort of off topic, but if you add purple onion slices to avocado/guac in the fridge, it will extend the shelf life for DAYS!! something about sulfates or something. idk, i'm not a food scientist. i just know it works. 😂

    • @karendover6001
      @karendover6001 6 місяців тому +1

You can also put the pit in the guac, although that works best with relatively small amounts.

Loved this!! I’d love to hear your input on some of the more recent James Wan films, I saw where you talked about Night Swim! I’d really like your input on Barbarian and/or Malignant. Especially Barbarian, because they released it in 2022 and I still think at least once a week about how dirty Bill Skarsgård was done.

This was one of the only movies I didn't bother watching and instead went right to the reactions. And I wasn't disappointed.

Oh my god he even knows about the 5 minute period of when an avocado is perfect. It's like standing around to watch one of those corpse flowers bloom for 15 minutes after 20 years of waiting.
And it makes it so hard to buy more than 3 of them at a time unless you're either feeding a family of avocado eaters or eating a whole lot of them yourself.

Hey, love your videos and that you bring your personality to the channel. It makes it feel more like a review/ chatting with friends whereas big channels feel a bit disconnected nowadays.

Enjoyed this video. Amusing and entertaining.
Films I'd love to hear you cover at some point should it take your fancy.. The Devils, Don't look now, Event Horizon and the original Woman in Black which frightened me more than it should as I watched it coming down off acid in my youth 😂
Your upcoming Sinister 2 video hopefully gives this channel the further propulsion it deserves.

Fun fact about the Pooh mask. It wasn’t made for the movie specifically at all. That’s how little effort they put in

This was like the equivalent of a 16 year playing Greenday in a church… they think they’re being edgy, but they’re being showing what douche bag they really are.

I love the idea of the film but their too many writers in this film so the story is all over the place. and doesn't make sense at all it's like they don't know how to stay with one story so they put in more stories to the film so the movie could be longer but we didn't come to this film to care about these bad actors lol we came to see the stars of the film and see their point of view and story but they didn't give us that just pease of small story clips so that was trash and what we got was just Michael Myers copycats not talking just walking around looking to kill and eat people? i hope people don't pay to see the second movie i hope there smart enough to save their money lol

Unpopular opinion but meanspirit-ness is exactly what slowly murders the horror in general and the niche which doesn't try to go for mainstream "elevated" horror in particular. And I'm looking at all of you who praised Terrifier cause you're a part of the problem, sorry to inform.

Hey dude, you should review Divinity. It’s a 2023 indie sci fi movie with horror elements. And when I say indie, I mean it’s indie. It’s low budget and very experimental. It’s in black and white with a lot of unorthodox shots and story progression and the ending is an absolute mindfuck.

Peter pan could actually work as a horror. The concept lends itself to horror more than Winnie the Poop anyway.

Yeah i think they really missed the opportunity of making it a horror/comedy, it would work way better with the theme they were going for. ALSO adding to my comment from before: Eduardo Sanchez's Lovely Molly has to be the most depressing and sad horror movies ever made and it's not very much talked about same as the Seventh Moon and I love them both. I think it's worth a while to check them out.

In a way, this movie reminds me of "Escape from Tomorrow," which had so much press over how "naughty" the concept/process/vibe of it is (Escape relying on being filmed in Disney parks when that was supposedly "illegal") without anything else there to give it any reason for being.

My only wish is that your videos were longer. Your voice is so soothing. 😊
Honestly, as a horror movie lover I appreciate it when you give your honest opinion even if it means telling us that the movie was garbage. I rather listen to you say it then watch the movie and waste hours of my life on it. 🥹
