Loved the vlog! Seeing Kason on Slinky Dog Dash was adorable 😍 I think Genie+ works really well when it's not overly busy. I went in April (it was hectic) and by 10am all the rides Lightning Lanes were full and you could only get Lightning Lanes for shows. So it's good to know it works when it's not super busy.
Yes we did wonder that maybe Genie+ might not be as effective on busy park days! We managed great with it but American schools weren’t off and maybe that had an impact? Don’t get me wrong we did still have busy days, but it still worked for us so maybe the super busy days like you said don’t work as well x

So genie plus, Thank-you so much for putting this on here, I feel so confused by lightning lanes and genie+. I know you have to pay an additional fee for lightning but is genie included and if so how many are you allowed per day? Just have to say I LOVE your sandals 👍
As far as I'm aware Genie is just part of your experience now on your app that you can use to help you plan your day, however Genie PLUS is what you pay for to have for the day, and we could use it on every ride at the park if we could obviously manage to get the rides we wanted, but I know it didn't let us choose the same ride a second time. So if we got a Genie + LL for Splash Mountain we couldn't then have another for that ride that day. And then on top of that certain rides in the parks had individual lightning lanes that you could purchase at an additional cost to the Genie + for the day that you have purchased. I hope that makes sense!
Brilliant vlog! Love seeing you using genie plus for the first time as we will be figuring it out too in October. Would you say you need 2 people in the party to be set up to book lightning Lanes at the same time? X
So the only time we had 2 people on in a morn to book was for if we also wanted a paid for individual LL. So certain rides aren’t included with Genie+ and they are an extra cost, so Amy was booking that whilst I booked our first normal Genie+ LL if that makes sense, sounded confusing to type haha x
Not gonna lie, I pretty much stopped following most Disney creators (at least their Disney content) since we ditched our passes after all the changes and price increases, but we still love watching you and your family!

Not sure if you figured it out in future vlogs but you can book one every two hours from park opening.
Yeah we figured that out I think maybe day 2? I’m sure that might be in the next vlog, but I can’t remember haha!
