Un tam-tam d'afrique ça n'existe pas, un tam-tam c'est un instrument idiophone métalique de la famille des gongs d'origine asiatique : www.r-sons.com/tam-tam-chinois-wu-han-45-id5318.html. Là, il y a des djembés, mais pas de tam-tams.

in Africa We call them Tam Tam. it s our instrument and we named it how we want. Now if you want to call it djembe or drum or anythink else that it is suit you it s okay but please start to respect people cultures and differences.
NO, i don't think so. YOU have to respect this culture. YOU have to call it by its real name, as YOU don't have to say that a carot is a turnip.
YOU dont think so? lol! i am african from ivory coast and in my countrie we call it tam tam. So maybe in others countries it s djembe but in mine it is a tam tam. when we say djembe it is when people doesnt know what a Tam tam is. there are 54 countries in africa and a lot of differents cultures.
So please stop try to believe that you know better than others. thank you.
Yes you surely are african, but you surely are wrong too. The fact you are african does'nt make that you're right on every subjects about Africa. And i don't try to believe that i know better than others, but i know that on this subject you're entirely wrong.
you re right you are the kind of people who pretend to know people culture better than them or teach people how they own culture is. It's so wrong at every level. You better learn or learn to criticize what you think you know. Do you know that sometimes the same word can mean different things? Or that sometimes a lot of words can be use for the same object? Anyway, end of subject for me. :)
