Passive voice is in another structure. In grammar 3, you will deal only with simple sentences and structures. Ex. An apple was eaten by James. In this S, the real subject is james, who is the doer of the action, whereas an apple is the object. BUT, structurally speaking, the apple there is taking the subject place, as a result, it can be considered as a subject of the PV structure.....
