and a lot more that tells this is not the reactor core... Its just a lone cooling tower

i aint no nuclear scientist but it is this way: radioactive material heats and heats up water makes steam and turns a turbine

i know this was 4 years ago but i just came across this cause i was having trouble making a power planet myself and i thought this one could help me cause i got the power planet build idea from TheBuildingDuck but i just got to ask...How do you calculate the blocks and the 1% in excel? i looked at ot5her videos but they didn't help at all. So is there any chance you can make a video teaching us how to calculate what you did? If so, then that would be an amazing help....If not, then that's fine i completely understand. -TLDR: Video for how to calculate stuff in excel for power planet build?

my father is an engineer so i grew "around" all this kind of stuff. Not my thing for work tho but I wanted to build one to (oil rig), I just need to figure out what farm to fit inside of it (I don't like building just because in survival). Maybe a drowned/copper farm?

A nuclear reactor works by heating up a nuclear fuel such as uranium or thorium in cells and water cools them down while in the process it makes steam which makes energy.

JoeAceJR No a nuclear reactor works when you put two atoms together such as Plutonium and Uranium. Don't talk about things you don't know about
You don't heat up uranium or plutonium. They create a large amount of heat energy when the atom of uranium or plutonium. This is s process known as "Nuclear Fission". The heat energy created is used to heat water which creates steam. Steam is then used to rotate a turbine which generates a lot of energy.

@@xaviercaro2725 Almost any power plant have cooling towers also the one in the video is not even a power plant just 2 cooling towers and 1 office building...
How do you use those commands to set blocks?
WorldEdit and VoxelSniper are the mods I use for doing quick changes :)

Me and my friend made a nuclear power plant with an RBMK-1000 nuclear reactor model aka the chernobyl reactor without world editor or any commands! it ended up looking pretty nice.
You are like the American Grian who uses World Edit. In other words, your builds are the most awesome things I have ever seen anybody do in Minecraft, World Edit or not.
