#LOST SOUNDTRACK ANALYSIS (Michael Giacchino's score)
"There's something I need to do. Die."
The potential upcoming death of Richard Alpert provides a possible challenge for the composer of LOST. Go watch it!
    🗣️🧨⛓️
So many years after the show's ending, Michael Giacchino's amazing soundtrack for LOST still has many, many secrets to uncover. Not only does every main character have their own theme music, but much like the interconnected writing of the show itself, Giacchino's score connects locations, scenes, emotions and conflicts in unbelievably brilliant ways. For the foreseeable future, I will be exploring Michael Giacchino's soundtrack from ABC's LOST in a weekly video, covering all episodes of the show and their musical connections to each other.

It's such a great scene and one where I haven't thought much about the music. Especially that "Life and Death" is intertwined in it.

This scene just might be Jack at his best. It's so badass and intense!

Great video mate. Hearing “Richard’s Motif” made me think of “Jack’s Redemption Theme” cool little connection to this moment

"Linus And Alpertinent" is one of my favorite pieces on the entire score, and I have always felt like it never got enough attention. Now it has a video all to itself! =D Thank you!

It's always been one of my least favorites, but I definitely gained an appreciation for it while working on this! It's a lot like the score from Charlie's death scene, but more subtle because it lacks the buildup to it (before this episode, that is).

Very true! Perhaps more intriguing than tragic.
