Franco you wonderful Canadians at the Canadian Taxpayer Federation are awesome and I love how you hold politicians accountable for the money from taxpayers of this country. What the Trudeau regime has done is despicable and repulsive and should be held responsible for our money.
Any semblance of accountability has gone out the window. I'm a Canadian, but I've been living abroad for nearly 15 years. While I've spent most of my time in so-called developing countries, I've also spent many years in countries said to be on par or nearly on par with Canada in terms of "development". Take, for instance, Singapore or South Korea. Highly developed countries with extensive bureaucratic systems, with a key difference being there is accountability and public knowledge of how public money is spent with broad public access to recourse. In Canada, this is hardly ever the case. Shadowy cohorts of bloated bureaucratic systems (and diplomatic corps) where citizens have little to no available avenues to hold public servants accountable for their budgets, their projects or their conduct. Clearly the reason this remains the case is because it serves them and the systems they exploit.

I can’t express enough praise for your attempts to persuade the committee to hold government department leadership accountable, sadly it’s unlikely that anyone ever will be nor will the money ever be put back into hard working, and honest Canadians wallets.

It’s like a drug addict if you continue to enable them to use than you are to blame. If the support stops they will have to figure shit out on their own. Funny how they can always find the money to use.
While I certainly agree with the message, it's illegal for employers not to automatically deduct taxes. You do not have to submit a tax return as long as you do not owe any taxes for that year but there is no way for the vast majority of Canadians to simply stop the tax man from collecting.
Bonus is just a different way of increasing salary and has nothing to do with performance! Bonuses should be eradicated from public sector.

$54 Million dollars versus what it should have cost, ~$250,000! Hard to believe, not really when you hear the bonuses given to the executives. Canadians have not seen transparency or accountability in 8 years. The evidence is clear on this. The redactions on documents is unhelpful to all taxpayers in this country. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and please make sure this is fully investigated and resolved. I fear this is just the tip of the iceberg - I am sure you would be equally surprised and annoyed to find out how taxpayers' money is spent in Federal governments and in the official visits department of the PMO, GAC and PCO. Annual budgets are a mess too.
We, as individuals, have to do more. Lots more!! We MUST take up our grievances with our MPs! We must send emails asking questions. We must send emails voicing our concerns, our displeasures. We must use our energy in constructive ways; simply posting comments on social media is not nearly enough.
Every and all emails and letters sent to your MP becomes public record. I have sent a few to my MP, Chad Collins, regarding excess deaths. I have not received one reply. However, public records will prove that he has been made aware of this ongoing, global concern. Yet zero action is being taken on his part. Accountability will take place!! I intend to ask for any and all emails sent to him regarding excess deaths(am I the only one sending him emails? If there are multiple people doing the same and he continues to ignore this we have a bigger problem!!

It is so stressful to learn of all the waste of taxpayers’ money.
