- Ryan and I install his platinum mechanical 4 inch stainless steel snorkel and airbox in his 2017 dmax . Was very windy on the day so the audio is not the best sorry.
I love how the safety squint is being used when power tools are in use! great effort boys 👍🏼

Do you find the sound of the snorkel annoying or excessively loud in the cab with the window closed?
It was my sons car , hey liked it but yes to me its too loud 😂😂
Good work fellas. Good to see the young fella getting aggressive with dad 😂 . I’ve got my pipe n box waiting to go in . They supplied stainless steel pot rivets but I was tossing up to use rivnut…… did u use stainless or aluminium. ?

What’d you do with plug on air box?
We used the platinum aftermarket airbox
So it has a drainplug but its sealed so needs to be removed if water is in there.
I don't see if the cutted edges are rust treated. Same with the drilled hole, it will rust and ruin your effort.
Yes we did paint all surfaces, cotton tip and some white rust paint 👍👍.
