Thanks for the informative video tutorial, but my question is...you still need a third party dry-fire barrel/bore laser if you wanna use your own personal pistols and not the cert pistol?

If you want to use your own firearm, then yes, you would need to purchase some type of laser cartridge to be able to use the website. There are several different options available.

Will mantis-x work with this?

I don’t think it would. The Blackbeard system from Mantis might work with it since it has the laser built into the bolt carrier group but the Mantis X just reads the gun’s movements rather than projecting a laser. If you are using your own gun, you need some kind of laser cartridge in the chamber to signify the shots.
