I'm curious, how much power draws a single H tube or the whole installation, when all bulbs are ignited at full brightness? Any guesses?

Wow, that looks absolutely magnificent! Even in the small workshop. Imagine it in the dedicated exhibition room with the proper spacing, this is going to be great!

My main concern for transport would be damage to the digit stack inside the tube due to vibration, hopefully everything will survive.
An exellent cobination of science, old and new electronics and art. Very impressive just as a test installation. I would love to be able to see the real thing.

Kids can be so brutally honest. 😂 But congratulations to you and your team, this is a huge accomplishment and it looks fantastic even in the compressed format. I've been following the project from the beginning (I can't believe 3 years?!) and it's been really enjoyable to see it take shape. I don't know that I'll ever be able to, but I'd love to go see the final installation in Japan.
And it must have been scary to watch all those H tubes be driven off in the back of a truck.. it was for me, and I'm just a random observer!

I'd love to see this set to the the background audio of a 'number station' audio track - the ones that just say digits in repetitve patterns. I can imagine this visualising the audio at the same time. Nice work !

Next shipment you need to fully crate and include a vapour barrier for every item then fill with packing peanuts. At the moment your package is very vulnerable to impact and getting wet - which it will be at any air or sea terminal.

Looks absolutely amazing and what a fantastic achievement! Question though, noticed on the last section of the video where the kids are watching the display that there are a few tubes that appear to be being fed a small voltage and the 0's are still dimly lit, is that intentional or an artifact somewhere?
Thank you! Good observation. One batch of the nixie tubes produced a slightly opaque layer on the front window - "fog". We had this problem before and it was related to organic stuff inside the tube (contamination). We were able to quickly solve the problem by replacing all chemicals in the production with fresh ones, but we need to pinpoint the root cause. These will be replaced for the installation.
Fantastic work! You should have posted a little bit more information about the exhibition and maybe ask someone to translate your video to Japanese.
Have you thought about making each number the same brightness
It is a constant brightness per area of the digit, but because the digits vary in size, the brightness varies as well..
