22 mpg …… my Dad’s old Ford Zodiac mark 3 weighed 1.35 tonnes, had 114 bhp and averaged 18 mpg. His Bedford CF van averaged 16 mpg. Today’s petrol engines are magic.
What roughly would be the yearly maintenance and up keep cost?

Everytime I've seen a urus (only once actually) or a photo, I've always thought that it would be a cool car to tow with, either a big caravan or to a track toy, might look like an absolute knob doing it but would be an absolute knob with a big grin, and in bright yellow as well

There probably was… this had just about every option fitted. Those foot sensors usually have such a delay you may as well fumble and use your hands!
BMW X6 M is faster, Cheaper, Bigger, More practically...

Passed one being driven down the M4 over the weekend. In red. Looked bloody hideous. I was reminded of some Bentley-buying advice from Quentin Wilson about 25 years ago: “Look out for leaking hydraulics, oil leaks and don’t whatever you do get one in scrap dealer red…”
I’d rather have an X7 and risk being identified as an entitled cretin, rather than a total knob.

I parked opposite one of these recently, what an amazingly bland and uninspired design. It could have been mistaken for literally any large SUV on the road today.

Good car, bad name, I don’t care how old you are, you thought of the similar word, here’s the problem, I think the idea is good but realistically, there’s better SUVs such as Range Rover and as far as the power side, it’s never going to feel like a Lamborghini. What I mean is if your lucky enough to drive one of their cars, a real Lambo is violent, loud and a manual transmission! This is simply an SUV with the Lamborghini badging. It’s like having a Ford Fiesta with F-150 badging, it’s not real

"It's still a VW" can only be said by someone who's never driven one. The only VW on this platform is the Touareg. I had a Touareg for 6 months and can't say it felt very Urus-ey. And obviously yes it does look like a Scirocco. It sounds like you should probably not order one? Is there still time to cancel your order?
Honestly I don't need to watch this Because it's just an audi steak with some caviar on top it's crap, Just buy a range rover svr if you want a fast and luxury suv or audi rs6 if you want a fast family car. But I'll watch it for you tim.
@kyle Nothing wrong with a Urus been based of a RSQ8. They are great cars. If you think it’s crap, i’d hate to know what you think of that fiesta.
@@johnguidetti5839 I don't have a issue with it being a audi but it's an expensive audi & I just don't think it's worth the money. The mk6 fiesta st is brilliant in my eyes you can pick one up for £3,000 & have tons of fun also because it's a fiesta it won't break the bank when you need to fix it.
Having owned both, I can say that they are worlds of different apart when it comes to driving, interface, and show. Especially coming from my wife, she doesn’t know that they’re both VW.
But the look she has on her face when driving the Lamborghini compared to when she was driving the RSQ8 is night and day. And the RSQ8 doesn’t get any head turns. Aside from dudes who know what they’re looking at.

@@kyle-rj3vy We've had a rover and it was fine, but seemed incredibly unreliable. There were always things going wrong. Granted, they were small but still annoying. And they felt like a boat when driving. We like the urus because its quick and handles like a sports car. Also when the wife pulls up in a urus to pick up the kids from school, the 30 moms with Range rovers all turn their heads. Lol.
