Even though I was born & raised in America, I served in its military. I never felt a part of this land. Ever since I was a boy, my spirit felt drawn to Africa. I knew nothing about Africa except what I saw on tv, which was negative. But yet, I was still drawn to Africa.
Back in the 80s, I watched the television
mini series Shaka Zulu. I wanted to be a Zulu warrior so bad. Lol Fast-forward to 1995, while in the military, I went to Egypt. I remember feeling such a peace. Well, I'm finally going back to the African continent, but this time, I'm going to Ghana in a few months. I did a Dna test. On my mother side, we descend from the Akan people in Ghana. My fathers line is the Fulani people in Nigeria. I plan on visiting South Africa next year. I want to learn everything I can about the Xhosa & Zulu. I know Africa has many languages & tribes. I want to learn as much as I can & pass on the knowledge to my children before I die. Peace & Blessings to the Motherland, my ancestors & all the people of Africa.

I am from Ghana and I must say I am a bit disappointed you haven't shown then Luanda, Angolan capital in all its glory. And for those who are interested in a bit of history, the defeat of South Africa by Angolan and Cuban forces led directly to the independence of Namibia and later the fall of apartheid South Africa. Angola has been a serious anti western imperialist country from day one.

Many slaves to the Americas were from Congo, Guinea, Ghana, Senegal. It's neither easy nor necessary for one to trace exactly where they came from but what's important is to learn or research about the country that appeals to you. Some lesser know countries I'd suggest are Zambia, Namibia, Angola, Cameroon, Gambia, and Guinea (ps. there are 3 Guineas in Africa). East African slaves were mainly to Europe and the Arab world.

I'm a continental African and in my opinion you shouldn't restrict yourself to any one region of Africa when in fact Africa is your birth right. It was the European who carved up Africa and alienated different groups of Africans from each other. Yes there are different tribes in Africa but originally most Africans were nomadic people who migrated with their herds or followed the prey that they hunted. My roots are from West Africa but I'll be damned if the whole of Africa isn't my home. Peace.

All things aside I was thinking more I watched the video I realised what momma was saying about get a message about leaving this is like me now the thing is I am I got this almighty feeling to leave scotland and get to south africa. Not sure why but I currently selling everything I cant take with me and plan to leave end of june.
This came after years of working and never stepping up the ladder, been shift manager in fast foods all over, tattooed for over a decade and then retrain went back to university and graduated Programming with honours. Just as I about to graduate then doctor decided I had ADHD and anxiety and prescribed what they call medicine and since then life has just has continued to spiral out of control to point where it was leave the world or leave where I am and find my true purpose.
This is when I decided to leave scotland and make my way to south africa I am a Caucasian and was wondering if there is any places I would struggle to travel easily I dont want conflict I am escaping a city life that constant feels like a war zone and I cant do it anymore.

Now this makes sense especially when we are told that the slaves came out of Angola by the Portuguese. I have been researching this for years and placed it on UA-cam for a long time. At the time no one was listening. Benayah Israel did beautiful research on this topic and placed it on UA-cam. Our people were still snoring. Now the truth is coming forward. Yah is waking us up. So happy for the sister. She is right where her ancestors went. She must do more research on Sao Tome Island and Portugal and Spain. We left blood in those lands.

Angola is under the same political party since 1975, they're forcing themselves to remain in power and have no solution to the economic and social demands of the country as they destroyed the cololonial infrastructure and endured a 30+ years of war and all that makes the life of the people more difficult. We need political change so we can benefit from our wealthy resources and all you can mention for a good life. 🇦🇴

If we were welcomed in the USA with open arms by our AA just like we do for them when they come in Africa, I believe they would be an animosity between them at first place.
