A lot of groups have higher pitched vocalists and it amazed me that Kyungsoo’ has almost a soulful, but stable voice even when doing runs. He easily goes through notes effortlessly and the transitions between notes is smooth. People say SM is only looks, but you can style people to bring out their best look, but you can’t create natural talent

But they usually stick to how they sang the song on the studio version. D.O. always changes it up every concert. That shows how confident he is at his vocal ability. You can't do random adlibs without vocal ability.
D.O is the best voice in EXO and whole KPOP industry. Tone wise and style. I don't care about vocal techniques because I'm sure Chen is vocally better in techniques, but D.O still have better voice.
Chen's voice is gloriously versatile, but the same component that makes D.O. a great actor makes him a great singer. He totally connects to the song or the part with his whole heart and soul, and it's a deeply warm heart and soul.....
D.O. is not so far away from chen technique wise, chen is just no1 because he has the most developed low range (for a tenor) in the whole of kpop. But yeah kyungsoo is superior in agility and mix as well as belting

there's a lot of amazing idol singers in kpop but I cant think of anyone else who's voice is as smooth as D.O's like...you cant teach that. That's pure/raw talent as vocalist. His voice and Deans are my fave to listen to.
I used to find DO so energyless and complained about his stage presence w the group. But i realised he's the type of artist that really embodies what it means to be singing from the heart and not just for show. When he sings, it's like it's just him and the music.
He's always the one doing the most in EXO songs, especially in concerts, adding adlibs here and there that aren't in the studio version (as compared to other members who usually sing how it's sung in the original) so I never found him "energyless" because he's always trying to do something different

I’m not necessarily an exo Stan but I can’t help but go back to watching videos of DO and baekhyun singing. You really don’t see soulful and deeper voices anymore in kpop
there's a lot of amazing idol singers in kpop but I cant think of anyone else who's voice is as smooth as D.O's like...you cant teach that. That's pure/raw talent as vocalist. His voice and Deans are my fave to listen to.

I used to find DO so energyless and complained about his stage presence w the group. But i realised he's the type of artist that really embodies what it means to be singing from the heart and not just for show. When he sings, it's like it's just him and the music.

He's always the one doing the most in EXO songs, especially in concerts, adding adlibs here and there that aren't in the studio version (as compared to other members who usually sing how it's sung in the original) so I never found him "energyless" because he's always trying to do something different
I think Kyungsoo is more comfortable performing when it is EXO's Concert and with EXO-Ls. He's more hype in concerts than music shows or award shows. That's just my observation. But I lloovveee what you said there! That is really Kyungsoo!

I'm not an exo stan or anything but I've always listened to Exo's songs and kyungsoo's vocals stand out so much to me. They're so stable and clear and his range is amazing. His adlibs keep making me cry 😂
