Is there a reason why you are using Matrixes on the Wing and not the 4 Mains out? I get it on the X32, but it seems more logical to just use the separate Main outs.
With the new updates and integration of Pre/Post option like on other Bus for send, I would keep them for effects send or even extra IEM bus send. Your absolutely right about it been the same results it’s just more practical to use Matrix for outputs
There are some benefits to use 1 Main with Matrixs : 1. Because there is only 1 large LED meter onboard to show mixing level, using 1 main makes this LED meter show the mixing level, that makes mixdown level more reliable. 2. On show, you wouldn't want to control 4 faders to adjust mixing level, and using Matrix to balance Bass, Mid and Treble frenqucy, that is more efficient.
To reproduce what was done on the X32 and what Drew had explained, simply go directly to M1 (LR) then select the EQ. Select ‘SHV’ then ‘Settings’. Choose ‘LO BAND’: LR 24 dB/Oct"(close). Then choose 100.2 Hz as FREQ L. For the SUBS, go to M2 then select the EQ. Select ‘SHV’ at the bottom, then ‘Settings’. Choose ‘HI BAND’ : LR 24 dB/Oct"(close). Then choose 100.2 Hz as FREQ H. It's done, and without latency!
I love you men . Thank you for all you do ❤️
What is the benefit of using the speakermanager instead of just setting up HPF and LPF and maybe Delay on the 2 matricies?

I love using main outs for subs
I can specifically assign instruments with low end & not worry about other instruments bleeding thru
With 4 mains I use them for processing
. Main sub deep sub and online. Of course they could be used for other purposes if needed.

NICE!! Thank you

Good info. I just use my eq on the matrix and high/low pass
