Absolutely beautiful Mwenezi,Masvosva village in Chief Negari. We love our home land and thanks to our sister for adding value to our community . We will always do more to support your projects. Keep shining.....
I enjoy these videos - its nice seeing people doing these nice things. The only consistent tone that is really off is that everyone in the diaspora should somehow do the same, its somewhat off. People have different choices, there are people in the UK, USA or wherever who have great lives, have made it and live big and will never return to Zimbabwe and that is OKAY... there are people with young kids who are still at school whom they can't just leave so they are forced to stay till those kids have grown, there are people who live cheque to cheque and they dont have much to save for anything. Also people should understand that kungonzi munhu aenda ku diaspora hazvirevi kuti atove nemari yeku investor kumba - it takes year or decades for some. So lets praise people who are doing good things like these without just shooting words that sounds like everyone who isn't doing it is lost or they dont know what they are doing.
So true. Also each day is a gift from God. Let's enjoy the present . Vakawanda never made it to those houses. But congratulations to them chakanaka chakanaka. Only thing is SOME not all.....people forget to live and only work work neglecting themselves and immediate family pursuing.... Well done to that couple. But also acknowledging not everyone intents to come back circumstances differ.
I don't mind building a home a good one in the rural.areas as long there is a succession plan so that the Home continent to be maintained even in old age.
This is inspiring & may the good Lord continue to bless what she is doing. Rural area life is the best for those of us who have known hectic city life. Thanks
I have been hearing many of country people saying don't waste money and build or retire in Nigeria or any African country. Hmmm for me woo it's not about prestige or show off. Building simple face me I face you NOT mansion in 9ja is what I called (1) protection against deportation. Just in case Mugu far right took power & said if you don’t look like them must return to original country (example remember how African students were treated in Ukraine ). (2) Building a small house 🏠 is Peace of Mind investment (3) You can never be homeless. If you choose to wait & build in 30 years time, good luck with cement, POP, Roofing and labor costs. Our plans to return to Nigeria is 85% complete that’s our exit plan❤🎾🎾
Nice investment there by our sister. I am not quite sure if this is a guarantee of a better preparation for old age. People go into care homes once they become incapacitated due to frailty, illness, or not being able to look after themselves. This might not be due to a lack of personal accommodation or housing. Once old age sets in, all these nice places will need someone with a sound mind to be able to run them with respect. They can become our source of depression when poor younger people start abusing the now old owner of the house.
But Kundai how safe will your investment be when the authorities can wake up one day and take over the place saying they have found something underneath? If our situation was like SA at least you would feel safe building jn Rural areas because the land belongs to the community that live in it .Our current situation in zimbabwe is very scary because all the land belongs to the President he has the powers to evict people anytime. There is nothing heartbreaking as losing all your investment .
Only Africans that scare themselves like this. Then you go to an African country and see pure Europeans and Asians buying the land. Black people buy your land!!
Land issues in Africa is really a big problem. Countries that owe money to IMF and World Bank are using their land as collateral as in the case of Kenya and other African countries. We don't follow these things thereby lack the necessary information of where to invest.
Kundai wen i was still growing up in zim I used to see such houses just lying idle for years and years and locked up.. I now understand where all the pressure comes frm .wth all ths effort the diaspora kids wont come back for ever and thats a major concern..it will be only your graves and your white elephants..so sad and when night comes zvidhakwa zvaiona nhamo nekudzimaidzwa😂😂 Nice though
There’s hardly anyone in the diaspora who doesn’t want to go back home. Home is best but unfortunately circumstances force people to stay in the diaspora. Money doesn’t grow in trees in the diaspora.
Thank you for such an inspiring video my brother. Would you please inquire for me, how they made their septic tank. And if possible share the contacts of the plumber.
This is a beautiful house and well done to someone who’s now proud to show off the results of her hard work . To be honest it’s not easy to achieve something like this when you’re faraway from home and ask someone to do such a project for you. You get scummed from day one and nothing materialises from whatever plans you dream of. 10% of diasporas are lucky and 90% are so unlucky they work hard for nothing. Scumming is a big problem in Zimbabwe not many people are prepared to help you build not even the builders. You cannot trust anyone to do anything for you whether it’s your father, mother ,uncle , brother , sister, auntie, friend, daughter ,son , cousin, nephew, niece non of these people are happy to see you acquiring something good in Zimbabwe. I suppose it happens all over the world but it’s so painful. You can easily end up creating enemies even though it’s your money you have worked hard for. I wish there was a company which can help diasporas to build or to buy properties and be transparent and honest. Some of us have given up about going to build and settle in Zimbabwe . The builders, the electrician the plumbers anyone who’s involved in building for you there is a lot of scumming going on and they win you the hard worker you lose, only God knows why. Most diasporas have given up just like me . I surrender! Anyway I enjoy watching your platforms it helps me to have that Zimbabwe feeling. What else can we do?🙏🏾😳👀
I'm from South Africa and I'm interested in starting traditional markets and investing in African countries, We can start from Zimbabwe, It can be live stocks, properties Airbnb and more. If you have ideas please share.
Where can I also get my own rural land to make such a similar project. Currently I am in UK but intend to be returning home in a few years time. Please assist me

Nhai Kundai, how do you deal with mbavha, it looks isolated and far from Police???
I think there are people who live here and watch the place.kumisha kune ma sabhuku nemachinda avo .they work as police and courts in rural areas.
In Zim rural areas, life is different. There are no thieves to be honest
That tree she has planted near the tap has very strong and destructive roots and no vegetation (not even grass) will grow under it.
