Absolutely loved this kit. I did, admittedly, mostly get it for the sake of a complete collection and because I love Shimada Humikane's art (the Strike Witch designer guy), but it was a fun kit regardless. I find it hilarious how she's obviously an elf but she's wearing kemonomimi gear. Something about that gives me a chuckle. Though, I guess it's just supposed to be a callback to Humikane's Strike Witch work. Fantastic kit all around. Still probably have to give kit of the year to Susanowo or Isis, but great is still great.
I agree my friend. I love her design with the elf ears but I also think it makes the cat ears on her feel a bit redundant 😅 I totally forgot the same artist did strike witches stuff. I have those other kits in my closet waiting to be built, they do look amazing as well. Thanks for your comment 🐤

Honestly I wanna get two as well. The torso sculpt is just really well done. The only others that even come close are the Baselard's, which is broken up into torso and hip, and isn't as nice to look at, or the Hresvelger, who has the swimsuit sculpt you'd have to carve off if you wanted the same look.
Exactly! You are 100% correct. The other kits that come close are still nowhere near how nice this kit is for the torso. The articulation of the upper torso is much better, providing a nice arch without popping off too easily and without leaving a big hole in the front. It's also as you mentioned free from any detail that would need to be carved or sanded away. If you can get 2, but I was show by another person here in the comments that there will be a darker skin tone version coming as well, so keep your eyes peeled, she looks real nice!

@@MrSpriken for Megami device I like all the ninja style ones. I have the two kits you mentioned as well as all the ninja and archer versions. they are sitting in my backlog right now. I also love the greifen for the frame arms girl series, that is what got me interested in mecha sume.

I'm stocking up parts to build my very own Apex Legends Valkyrie figure for 2023, and Arsia's shoes and robot arms look close enough to modify. Do you or anyone maybe know of girlpla kits with a pixie haircut like Valkyrie's? I havent found any so far because you know how manga styles hate showing foreheads 😁
Sounds like an awesome idea for a kitbash! A lot of kits have shorter style hair, I’ll have a look in my collection and online and see what might be closest to her hair and get back to u 🐤
@@tomassoejakto hehe no trouble at all. The difficult thing about her hair is that it is quite short and therefor you can see all of her ears. Not many kits have full ears as odd as that sounds. The ones that do either have longer hair or hair that doesn't look anything close to pixie hair cut. I've found a candidate though. frame arms girl hresvelgr bikini armor version. Her hair is short, but would need some slight modification to go shorter, but she has ears, so if you cut away some hair it won't look weird. Her hair is actually a similar color to Valkyrie's now that I think about it. If I stumble upon anything better I will let you know
@@MrSpriken You're right, Hresvelgr bikini's hair looks almost perfect. I'll just have to trim the sides to show the ears, and probably the back. No better time to learn sculpting, I suppose. The robot arms and legs are also already close enough to Valk's, with hardpoints already in the proper places as well! And since Hres wears a bikini, it'll be simple enough to change it into Valk's jumpsuit. This is a brilliant recommendation. Thank you! Cheers 🍻🍻
