Still listening in 2021 as of 06:56 on 22/1/21, just discovered that this track was basically the first ever trance track that got me properly into trance exactly on the 11th September 2010...I’ve never deviated from the genre since and still love trance to this day.
Its 'Progressive House' as in the original term (old skool). Both Dousk & Tilt are Progressive House producers (Tilt for over 20yrs. Pioneers of Progressive) so it would fall into that genre for sure. Its not Trance or House. Its that beautiful place in between. Unreal piece of music.
Oldschool trance & house are pretty close, don't you think so? At least they are similar in atmosphere and overall "feeling". This track has both house and trance parts
@@NatBKyiv If in Trance you mean melody then yes I agree. But this track itself wouldnt fall into the 'Trance' genre. Oldskool house & trance can have similarities for sure. I do see where you are coming from.
The older I get (52) the more I'm appreciating the unmixed ISOS which I've had for years. The mixed cd's are good too, but the unmixed is the entire track.
Thank you TILT for being the producer that basically started my trance journey 🙌🏻 It was on the 11th September 2010 that I first heard this track on digitally imported fm, on tiestos club life episode 180. Before I heard this track on that day I had been listening to hardcore for 2-3 years...this made me switch to trance and I’ve never looked back 10 and a half years later :)

I had recently watched this film and thought I recognized the music from somewhere. Heard it in an old ASOT mix, but I beleive it may have been a different mix to this one, or maybe it was remixed live?. Would you have any idea?
So I’m pretty sure that, on the 11th September 2010, lying on a bunk bed in a hotel called ‘the old england’ beside lake Windermere, England, this was basically the first track that started my trance journey that I am still on today. At the time, I wasn’t to know that what I was actually listening to was Tiestos Club Life podcast 180 via digitally imported fm. I decided on that night to look for new music, and came across that radio station. It wasn’t until a month later that I ended up discovering that it was Tiesto’s Club Life. I checked the playlist and remembered the 5 main tracks I really liked, this track being one of them, and the other 4 being Jochen Miller - Classified (Original Extended), Ummet Ozcan - Arcadia, Aly & Fila Feat. Sue MCLaren - I Can Hear You (Beat Service mix), and Gareth Emery ft. Lucy Saunders - Sanctuary (Club Mix). It’s mind boggling knowing that it was essentially these 5 tracks that started off my trance journey. From that day in, I made the conscious decision to change from Hardcore to Trance, and I’ve never looked back. From 5 tracks in my collection on the 11th September 2010, to over 1,850 today. It was amazing to hear that Gareth Emery’s Sanctuary made it to the top 50 ASOT tracks of all time yesterday, one of the 5 tracks that got me into trance 🙌🏻
Same ....been into trance about 20 yrs myself....this music is fire....a pure soundscape that takes you on a visual journey in your minds eye....very motivational/inspirational and uplifting
I would agree with you for a song that both the producer and remixer had equal contribution to the result. In my opinion that might be different than yours or most of the people the original Tilt does not even touch the remix version. Therefore in my opinion I believe that dousk has higher credit for that result. That is the reason that the original is not that popular ether.
@@charleswachunas646 dont worry mate, its classic. still better than 99% of tracks in 2022 as well 😂 but in the other hand its not too funny cos nowaday s tracks are junk....

Back when the lines between the two were blurred and mixed, in a good way...
This track makes me cry
This track is awesome
Beautiful. Sounds just as beautiful as it did close to 20 years ago when I heard it the very first time.

Dorin Lungu so right man. things have changed. older the better.
This is progressive!
Yahel - Voyage (Eelke Kleijn Remix) and Deadmau5 - HR 8938 Cephei are both modern songs that are very similar to this style of song and good.

Great song, and thanks for uploading. I am pleased to see there is a long version :)
Pure Class
2018 still playing it
In search of sunrise 4 :)
and yes, this is progressive trance, not house
buenisima respuesta
this is a mix between prog house (base,fx) and prog trance (fills, pads), based on the instruments, structure, its absolutely not 100% prog trance.
50% trance and 50house
70% trance 30% house, either way, lets just all agree its an epic track and timeless.
When this came out there was not such thing as prog house ....
Tilt..forever the swaggering daddies of the prog borstal. Magic.
DOUSK and only DOUSK the original is so infirior
One of the best....!
