Gotta agree that this park is a lot better than its reputation makes it out to be. Been three times, and never had a bad trip. The most offensive thing I've encountered was one REALLY stinky dumpster that desperately needed emptying. Superman is a great coaster, Batwing and Wild One are both very nice, Joker's Jinx is always a blast and Apocalypse surprised me by not being nearly as rough as I expected and quite a lot of fun. They have a few very fun flat rides too. I especially like the Falling Star (now renamed Zydeco Zinger). My wife and I haven't been since before they created the Mardi Gras area, and by the looks of it it's a HUGE improvement over the somewhat boring section it used to be. We're planning on getting season passes, can't wait to try out the stuff they've added and also finally do Hurricane Harbor which looks to be a very nice water park. My home park is Busch Gardens, and while SFA doesn't hold up when compared to BG, it does have some things that BG doesn't and I'm excited to get back in 2016!
You should do a walkthrough at every park you go to Taylor! The narration is the reason I like your walkthroughs it makes you stand apart from other coaster channels!
I live about 40 minutes from this park but I would much rather drive the extra two hours to Hershey Park or Kings Dominion. My advice would be get there when they open head straight to Gotham City and hit the coasters... by the 1 pm the park gets over crowded with some trashy rude people. Lol If you are a Coaster enthusiast just hit Superman Batwing and Wild one and get up out of there.
Hi can you tell me if it’s a lot of Batman stuff at this party . My son would like to see Batman and Superman ? He is six so he can’t ride much . But he is a big Batman fan

Why in the hell would anyone ever want to go there?????? Six flags America is the worst amusement park ever!!! They have the worst ride operations of any theme park I have ever been too. The rides break down literary every second. The only live entertainment is a show about pirates. They have NO food places in the park. Literary the only food they have is ice cram!!!! The park is not very clean. Most of the roller coasters are only 100ft tall. The only good thing about it is that they have great coasters, but other than that, it sucks, especially considering that it's a Six Flags park. I don't know if it has changed over the past years, but that was how it was when I visited the park. I would only go back there if they improve the ride operations and add food and major improvements to the park.
+David Silva You clearly haven't been to the park recently, cause there's several things about this that are inaccurate. Yes, the operations stink, but by no means is it the worst amusement park ever! I have been to this park a couple of times, and every time I go there, the park gets better. It IS clean, their water park is AWESOME, and there are plenty of food places! The new Marti Gras section has a great feel to it, there are more live entertainment options, and the rides do not break down as much as you have described. When I visited the park this past summer, only one coaster was down. And it reopened later that day. I respect your opinion, but Six Flags really has improved from the way it used to be, and is an enjoyable park to visit. Are there things that can be improved on? Definitely! But does that make it a bad park? Of course not! I always try to look at the positives in everything, and there are plenty of good things about this park! It's no Cedar Point, but is certainly worth a visit if you get the chance!
+David Silva I went there in 2002 and it was one of the worst experiences ever! There were gangs in the park along with graffiti on coasters and I left because safety wise i didn't want to be in the park at night. However, I went back this year in May and it was 1,000 times better. I had an excellent experience and while it isn't comparable to other theme parks in the area it was still fun! The park was dead and every coaster was a walk on making for a great value. Best staff now to.
+Coaster Studios I noticed that in the video the rides were not breaking down and there was a lot more food in the park. I went there about 3 years ago before they added Rajun Cajun and Fireball. When I went on the Roar it wasn't that great and it was really bumpy and boring. However, based on what you said in the review, I assume that its a much better ride now. Also, the Mind Eraser was extremely painful, but I think it will always be like that because its an SLC. All the other coasters were great and the Wild One is one of my favorite wooden coasters. I am pretty sure that the park is a lot better now, and maybe I was unlucky that day. I kind of want to go back there because the coasters there are awesome, but I think I still want to visit all the other Six Flags parks first.
