I love this scene because of the little contradictions they do occasionally agree on some things. They did actually agree on some things during the scene. 😉 And the nod to Rick and Magnum's conversation about the text chain thing. Higgins said nearly the exact same thing Magnum said to Rick! And Magnum nodded (it literally was a nod!)and smiled! And I agree with the DL thing, they need that breathing space. Plus they won't be able to keep it secret for long! Especially with all the jeopardy they all get into! 😆😉
Love the show, but got to thinking. If all we get is 20 more episodes (awesome we get more!) and if that's all they can end it properly, but also, did they just want to get it to 96 so it's closer to the 100 for syndication?
I guess "miggy" means magnum + Higgins, which I hadn't heard before. I was watching this with my daughter, who also enjoyed the show before it was temporarily cancelled, and she finally agreed with me that Higgins does not have a typically attractive female body. But I observed that since Hernandez is the producer of the show and he would have approved the casting of Higgins as his counterpart right from the start, he must have considered her attractive. It's a minor thing, but I couldn't help noticing. 😀 (My personal taste for a female sleuth is Emma Peel from the British series of the sixties, "the Avengers")
I am wondering if the tons of commercials they play on NBC could include some other scenes besides this one shower scene. It gets old. I would think there might be other parts of their relationship could be shown. Don't come for me as I am new to this show, story, and not a fan yet.

We are sorry that you have gone this route. btw: in our area you are up against East New York, a fine and gritty new series. We are watching that and not Magnum though we watched magnum right up until this season. Bye bye Magnum.
