Emotional maturity is probably most important to me. And someone who makes me feel completely safe, that I can be me without any judgement or negative energy
I needed to hear this things my 3 year relationship just ended last Saturday and initially it felt almost like a shock but looking back I ignored things so much and I just reached the breaking point of knowing I couldn’t continue like that.
I just broke up with my ex about a month ago. I chose to let her go because she has some growing to do. There were no hard feelings at all, but the way she needed to grow was on her own. She had all the other green flags, though. I can see her growing and coming back, but I also realize that I should keep my options open. Realizing I have all these green flags especially reassures me that I am ready for a relationship. So if I find someone else who is too, I'm ready to dive in. I wouldn't be opposed to checking in on my ex in the future, though. Because I'll always want what's best for her, even if that means we go our separate ways.
My green flags are simple. I just want a guy to understand me. And the regular communication NOT 24/7 hovering conversations on text. To give each other the space if we need it. To love me the way that I love him. To not do the bare minimum and settle for that. To ensure every day even 10 years from the first day we met, to still feel the same butterflies that were there from day 1.
I love your video so much I think my green flag is being on time when the first meet. That's the basic Also without giving any attention to the phone is a green flag !
Honestly it’s so important! I once went on a date and the person was an hour late.. I should have left but I stayed and I knew that no matter what they weren’t the right one for me. Someone that values you, values your time
Lost my wife to Alzheimer's / Dementia after 25+ years of a great marriage. She was 10 years older than me, finishing the first of her 4 graduate degrees, when we met. If we had not found the same core values we would have never stayed together. For a relationship to last both parties have to give at the 90% level.. 50 50 effort will not last.
Hi Joey I don't know if you'll read this and I don't know if you take video requests but could you maybe make a video about how to deal with your ex dating someone new please I'd really appreciate it if you made a video on that topic because I've been struggling with it for days thank you

My green flags are the guy must always be there on time, to genuinely be interested and comfortable and respectful
time is a MUST! I agree on that
The green flags I would constantly notice or look for: understanding, communication and genuine care.
good ones!

I love this! We so often tell people how to leave a bad relationship but never teach people how to work on one that has potential.
Love love love your videos! Thanks for making my day ❤❤
