Nice video. It was helpful that you pointed out that Nextdoor users are there mostly for information.

Not true that it won't accept "fake" names. My mate Wayne Kerr just joined, no problem at all.

Must you offer a deal in order to make a business post on Nextdoor? Can you simply advertise what you do?

Thank you for your question. As a business you can create a page for free but in order to get the word out to others you would have to create an offer. However you can hyper target a specific area with a very small limited budget or you can target a larger area around you with a larger budget.

You can, but your business has to be verified or else you violate their rules and guidelines for posting and they will take down your "ad"

@@LeadsNearby Am I wrong, there are 2 free monthly posts, why does one need to pay again if all you need is to use the free posts?

@@relaxedclub9425 From what I can tell from my own experience, your posts only appear in the feed of people that are connected to you, and in the main feed but quickly disappears. The paid ads get pushed into the feed of everyone in the area you chose. Both get terrible results in my experience, especially sponsoring a neighborhood - way too expensive. I get 10x ROI on bandit signs at busy intersections compared to nextdoor.

    1) app is dead! 2) moderators break rules with impunity! 3) full of drama queens, Ken's and karens who hate life. And 4) The app is DEAD, 90% of their groups haven't been posted to in over a year. They are hemorrhaging customers, as well as businesses getting over charged for adverts, most apps are half the advertising costs. As a digital Marketing consultant coach, I do not advise this app to any business that wants to grow!!!

Tons of areas here in Florida use Nextdoor just fine. Perhaps some locations are crashing.

In my city it is a lot of Karens and Kens and only Party approved Correct Speech is allowed, but I get a lot of good customers, too. It's a mixed bag, I will be glad to move away from it.
