Moved to California, got clean, co-owned a restaurant, came home to take care of my dad until he passed from cancer, but met a girl while I was home. Six months later, her habits rubbed off on me during a moment of weakness and now I'm a fiend. No home, no job, she's up and left, and going back to California isn't an option. Sold of my share of the business and can't afford an apartment there no more. All it takes is one screw up, one wrong person in your life, one moment of weakness during times of extreme stress, and BOOM you Gary.

That's what breaks my heart, man. I had a similar situation. Moved to California, got clean, co-owned a restaurant, came home to take care of my dad until he passed from cancer, but met a girl while I was home. Six months later, her habits rubbed off on me during a moment of weakness and now I'm a fiend. No home, no job, she's up and left, and going back to California isn't an option. Sold of my share of the business and can't afford an apartment there no more. All it takes is one screw up, one wrong person in your life, one moment of weakness during times of extreme stress, and BOOM you Gary.
The greatest show On earth Gary was a grown ass man with a weak mentality and the mistakes he made was his and his alone.
