About SIREN:
“Siren” takes us inside Bristol Cove-a coastal town known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the arrival of a mysterious girl proves this folklore all too true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean. The series stars Alex Roe (“The 5th Wave”) as Ben, a bright marine biologist who finds himself drawn to a mysterious new girl in town, Ryn, played by Eline Powell (“Game of Thrones”), who is a strange young woman with a deep dark secret. Fola Evans-Akingbola (“An American Exorcism”) stars as Maddie, also a marine biologist who works with Ben, and is highly suspicious of Ryn. Ian Verdun (“Life’s a Drag”) stars as Xander, a deep sea fisherman on a quest to uncover the truth; and Rena Owen (“Star Wars” Episodes II and III) as Helen, the town eccentric who seems to know more about the mermaids than she lets on. Based on a story by Eric Wald and Dean White who both serve as executive produces. Emily Whitesell (“Finding Carter”) is on board as Showrunner and Executive Producer. Brad Luff, Nate Hopper and RD Robb are also attached as executive producers.

Everything about their relationship is crazy. Ben made made it personal when he should have been professional. He started out studying Ryn now he's sleeping with her
If I was Ryn I would choose sea and Hope over Ben because Ben is love but Ryn is a mother first now and her colony needs her. She is still alfa female and they need a leader and Hope needs a mom.

Godammit yes ! What is wrong with everyone else ? Ryn has responsibilities as a leader, she cannot just throw everything to the wind just for her love. Her and Ben are so much more than just love interest for each other.
Honestly? I’m not exactly sure if you can call what Ben and Ryn have as love? More like two people who tried heroin together, got hooked and stayed together that way, that’s basically what Ryns song did. And she sang to Ben more than once, causing his brain scan to go shadowy, and Ryn said that singing does something for her too so it could also have an addictive affect on her as well. Both of them think of the song a lot, and Ben still listens to the recordings and both of them are practically destroying themselves in order to stay together - like addicts.

I agree with you on that, but my opinion is a bit different. It seems Ben was like that long before he met her. He was distant from family, from Xander and guys… it’s kinda like a destiny really to my mind. Like he didn’t belong on land from the very beginning.
And when he found her he found himself. As strange as he always was. He is addicted for sure, but it kinda looks so natural for his character

Ryn will ultimately choose the sea. I feel like the consequence of Ben taking those injections, is that he won't have a choice in choosing land. He'll probably be stuck in aquatic form. And next season we'll see a time jump of maybe a year or 2.
That's where I am leaning towards to, with those facts it will be a lot for Ben's family.
Now that you think about it, Ben and Ryn’s whole relationship is wrapped in pain and tragedy, I really don’t want them to be apart because they are the bridge between two worlds, but we all know what the ‘New world order’ would be like if their existence is revealed. I’m enjoying every moment they have together, because I don’t know how long it’ll last.
Perhaps Ryn's reunion with Hope will keep that bridge intact. I feel like Bristol Cove will learn the truth about their existence, human and merfolk at peace together.
I'm so disappointed that Ryn’s relationship with Maddie kind of dissolved. Now it's just Ben Ben Ben. I liked the three of them together but since Ryn, Ben never treated Maddie the same so I'm glad she left his ass. Still, makes me sad to see that it also meant Maddie growing apart from Ryn in the romantic aspect.

Judging from Ryns flashbacks🙁🤔Somehow I feel like the ending of this season won't be candle lights and fairytales. I'm worried! Why are they showing the intense flashbacks instead of the good happy ones?. #JustAThought.

I think the show was trying to explain Ryn's state of mind. Jerry said "when these two are together it's fun, laughter. it's love." and Ryn realized her time on land has not been fun and laughter, and her love for Ben has caused a lot of heartache. this is part of her realization that despite her vow to Ben, she can't stay, she must return to the water. just my opinion.

This is beginning to be more and more sad because Tia is planning to use the song against the humans and she deleted the audio from the echo chamber and she destroyed the echo chamber and she is becoming more and more strong with the song. I am looking forward to seeing a Caribbean mermaid and an Asian ones and a brand new echo chamber in season 4 and maybe more

@de72nlamont Ratings have been pretty okay for a show in its third season. For comparison's sake, it's actually doing better than Motherland and the now-canceled Party of Five.
Ryn is having flashbacks that she remember that it was her first time seeing Ben when they met each other and so is Ben he's having flashbacks that when it was his first time seeing Ryn on land when he found her walking in the street naked.
That scene was crazy, it shows how kuch they're relationship with each other has grown. All the choices they've made to lead up to their now present moment.

I'm so sad because Maddie broke up with Ben, and it looks like Maddie and Ryn are moving away. I loved their triangle so much, which took so long to build, and so the third season just said "here are two straight couples for you." I don't mind Maddie's relationship with Rob. But I am so sad to see the breakdown of this relationship. I would like this triangle to live and Maddie would just date Rob as well. :'(

To me this shows how far they have come people may think it’s toxic but I don’t this shows how much they love each other how much they have been through together how much Ben is willing to sacrifice for ryn, maddie and hope but now I reckon he doesn’t need injections I reckon it already has changed his DNA 🧬 on a cellular level so he is probably changing still on the inside
