No need to iron your sheets. Simply spray them with a mist of plain water (use any spray bottle). You can do this every day when you make your bed; the sheets will de-wrinkle and will look pristine, like they were just ironed. This is a luxury hotel tip. You're welcome.
This reminds me of my mom. I remember she would iron our sheets. Twice a year, she would wash & iron her drapes/curtains in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. As a housewife, she always took enjoyment in presenting the house like a hotel. My younger sister & I would complain. Wow, this brings by nostalgic feelings. . . We dreaded SAT morning cleanings! Yes, this reminds me of what I experienced as a child. . . . I never adopted this tradition; come to think of it, I don't think any of my three sisters did either. I easily can remember looking in our linen closet and she'd have all of the sheets & table clothes neatly pressed & folded. Hmmm, I believe a little of my mom's practices carried over in my life because when you open my linen closet, all of my sheets & towels are uniformly lined--NOT pressed. LoL My mom, she'd cook & clean as a hotel personnel. It always seemed like too much work to me, but reflecting as an adult, I see her GREATNESS! CELESTE, in the ATL 🌼
Not sure if anyone has told you about tucking sheets and comforter using wide wood or bamboo spatula. Works wonderfully and saves your hands. I use the ones from Dollar Store. They don't break
In addition to ironing the following day when I make my bed I spray In a spray bottle...quarter cup of downy , fill with hot water, and 2 caps of rubbing alcohol. Let dissolve. Spritz as fabric freshener and flatten with your hands the pillows and duvet cover. That’s what I read hotels do. The smells is amazing and wrinkles gone!!! Enjoy
Brand Watts - I discovered this only a week ago!! I thought I was being lazy doing this but it made sense at the time, so pleasantly surprised to see her ironing on the bed. I too was struggling with the ironing board.
Wamsutta used to be proudly made right here in SC, USA,...from spinning the cotton into yarn to weaving to sewing and packaging and shipping by Springs Industries, originally Springs Cotton Mills. I worked there for almost 25 years. We all lost our jobs and manufacturing went to Brazil...shame shame shame!!!
Pillow tip: turn the pillowcase inside out and put your hands into it, grab the corners of the pillow on the side the label is on, and roll the pillowcase over the pillow. Much easier than trying to stuff it in.
I have a Wamsutta comforter (the damask) and its literally my favorite comforter EVER. Im a super hot sleeper and the pima cotton is soon smooth and keeps you cool but still warm and cozy. Its amazing.
I use 2 pillowcases. Partly for hygienic reasons , partly for comfort and partly for appearance. The first pillowcase is to keep pillows fresh. Sometimes they come with a zippered case. If not , I use a lyocell fabric case in white . Then the 2nd pillowcase on top looks brighter, crisper and cozier. Remove both when washing. If pillowcases open on then end instead of the middle then you put the second case on from the opposite end as the first so that the pillow is completely wrapped .
It's like you know what step of decorating I'm at at every turn! Thank you for this because this girl cannot think spatially or compositionally without your help
I prefer to wash and dry sheets before I put my new sheets on the bed. Which will get rid of you having to iron them and brings out the quality of the sheets more.
Exactly, I was raised to always wash new garments and bedding before use to get rid of any chemicals that were used in the finishing process before packaging etc
You are awesome. I love ironed sheets, people look at me crazy when my husband tells them. Lol. You have made my life easier on the tip of ironing them on the bed. Just a note. Egyptian cotton is mostly made in India and China. Supima is the best in the world and is grown only in America. Also higher thread count isn’t always better, I stay around 600. Higher than that is usually cheaper cotton.
Ironed sheets are the best! My husband would ask me that 20 years ago why I ironed the sheets and now he can't live without the ironed sheet.....Yeah, I agree as higher thread count is not always better...Simply amazing!!!!
I totally agree with thread count, I also love wamsutta I usually go for a higher thread count but I’m going to give these a try. Also I don’t have the energy to iron my bedding. I also recommend spending money on pillows.
I iron sheets and duvet covers or I hang them over my loft railing partially damp so the weight of it smoothies out any wrinkles. Definitely iron pillowcases. Nothing like a crisp fresh bed. Great video.
Love your vid. I do all this already. Only exception is I got all of my bedding from Burlington Coat Factory. I got 2 sets of sheets, Satin pillow cases, 4 standard pillows, a decorative pillow and a really pretty white comforter for like $10 more than what I spent for one comforter set at Bed Bath beyond.

Nine times outta 10 Amazon carries it. It won't be cheap (even on Amazon) but think of how much money you've wasted over the years on both cheap and expensive pillows "hoping" to find the perfect one!! You're probably saying, "But why not just just ask the staff what pillows they use"? I did, and they directed me to the brands website...but the brand had 10 different pillows!!! That's why you need the NAME, sooooooooooo...get to peeling! 😋

I may try it - but that will be a lot of ironing for me since I change my duvet every week. I make sure to buy ones with a high thread count - or make my own with flat sheets. No need to iron, buy the wrinkle release spray. Lavendar scent is a lovely rich scent. Layering is the look, natural textured layers. Ikea goose down duvet fillers are fill 1-6, 6 being for Canada/Alaska and 1 Florida/Tropics in summer- they even have some that snap to connect 2. I live in FL and need a 1 and 3 depending on season. Their duvets covers are beautiful too. Ikea goose down comforters/duvet fillers have no sticky feathers and great stitching. I found white on white on white with subtle lt aqua or lt taupes look rich. Buy the most expensive goose down pillows in Ikea too - and wash them twice a year with tennis balls in the dryer. You will have them for many many years.

I am amazed your BBB has Wamsutta bedding. I spent last summer going to multiple BBB, could not find Wamsutta and finally ended up buying what seemed to be their new store brand.
Hi 👋🏿 I always put 2 slips on a pillow....saves having to wash/throw the pillows too often. All the hair oils, drool 🤤 and other fluids 👀(Ahem!..) don't get thru so easily. If you sleep hot, consider percale sheets. I’m unable to use Egyptian cotton or high high thread counts with a sheen to them because they make me sweat.
I love this video! I normally buy the hotel collection at Macys...those sheets stay cool at night and last for years... they are expensive but I haven't had to buy a sheets at least for 9 years and I know that for a fact because I bought them when I was pregnant nine years ago and I used to always get very very hot and these sheets came in handy...they still do... but I love the idea of tucking the sheets this is a great video
Hey KB, thank you for your content I am definitely learning a lot about how to decorate my new place. That said, I am looking to buy a new platform bed,and yours looks awesome. What brand is that/where did you buy? 😍
I live In the UK abd we use ironing boards for our bed linen. I’m one of hand full who still irons their bed linen 🤷🏼♀️ question did u wash those sheets b4 u put them on the bed? I love of fresh bed linen, especially if they have been hung on the line outside
Another great presentation. I am so looking forward to you helping me with my new house by the end of 2022. Keep up the great work and hope to meet you soon. Peace.
Though it not make my bed look luxurious, it sure feels like it! A couple months ago, I bought a really pretty mint green convertible comforter at Walmart's. I put it on top of my already existing light pink comforter, and when I slept that night, I felt like I was in a hotel bed. For some years now, I use bed risers. For those who may have trouble with getting in and out of bed that way, I recommend putting a step by the bed, like say, someone uses a step in a kitchen to get something they cannot reach. As for pillows, no problemo, as my bf and I use different pillow case. If we were to, I am liable to just put a small x on pillow itself instead of tag thing. But also, my pillow is on wedge pillow and he does not use wedge pillow.
I like crisp sheets instead of soft. What type sheets would you suggest? Do you sleep with the pillow shams or use other pillows? Does a duvet cover make you hot at night?
Thank you , such a lovely look . I have never stayed in a hotel that uses satin sheets . I don’t like satin , found it often pills . It never has that crisp feel .
When you get the high quality sheets how do you keep them that way after several washes? I’ve found that when I buy expensive sheets They arent as amazing after a while? Maybe I’m not spending enough? Or any hacks?
BED BATH & BEYOND 1. Buy high quality sheets. Stay away from polyester sheets. 2. Iron your sheets and duvet cover. 3. Fold hospital corners. 4. Buy a comforter or duvet cover with hotel border/stitching. 5. Double stuff your duvet cover. 6. Add accent pillows and blankets. (Down pillows) 7. Add a tray and other practical aesthetics.
No need to iron your sheets. Simply spray them with a mist of plain water (use any spray bottle). You can do this every day when you make your bed; the sheets will de-wrinkle and will look pristine, like they were just ironed. This is a luxury hotel tip. You're welcome.

I’ve binged watched 6 episodes from ur channel today. You are amazing. Love your content.
Thank you so so much Taneisha! 💕
What are your thoughts on Linen sheets- I love them but they always need a iron… can you do a video with a duvet and quilt?
And I already have this comforter😍
Hey KB, thank you for your content I am definitely learning a lot about how to decorate my new place. That said, I am looking to buy a new platform bed,and yours looks awesome. What brand is that/where did you buy? 😍
Wonderful tips and tricks!🙌👏👏👏 it looks SO luxurious and comfy
I live In the UK abd we use ironing boards for our bed linen. I’m one of hand full who still irons their bed linen 🤷🏼♀️ question did u wash those sheets b4 u put them on the bed? I love of fresh bed linen, especially if they have been hung on the line outside
Another great presentation. I am so looking forward to you helping me with my new house by the end of 2022. Keep up the great work and hope to meet you soon. Peace.
Greetings! Do you still offer decor ideas to individuals? I’d love some suggestions for my home
Vera Wang sheets are my all the favorite!!!!!!!!!!
I really liked the video, but where did you get down pillows? I'd love to have some here. Thanks in advance!
I enjoy and learn so much from your videos, tfs!
You have such a beautiful style! I love the sheets color.
Great video!!! Ironing makes such a difference. Need to check out Bed Bath and beyond. ❤️
Bonnie Overman.. Good morning how are you doing?
I do iron my sheets it looks much better, the tray is a great 👍🏽 idea specially for the guess room.
I like crisp sheets instead of soft. What type sheets would you suggest? Do you sleep with the pillow shams or use other pillows? Does a duvet cover make you hot at night?
Thanks! Should I put a king duvet on a queen bed?
Thank you , such a lovely look . I have never stayed in a hotel that uses satin sheets . I don’t like satin , found it often pills . It never has that crisp feel .
Hello how are you doing hope?
UA-cam has been trying to make me watch your videos for the longest. I finally gave in now I can't stop binge watching
I love wamsutta. I have their damask Pima cotton comforter and love the feel. Never going back to buying low quality bedding and pillows
Love sateen sheets! Great tips. What about finding the same for fitting 18 to 20 inch depth size? Have not been able to find anymore.
Nice video. What is the name of the green floral at 9:24? Do you know where I can purchase them? Thanks.
Ohhhhhh!!! Me likey!!!! This is so ON TIME!!!! Yes, I subscribed 🥰
Welcome Risa!! 💕
I love everything!!! Heading to Ikea and BB&B!
Steaming sheets is another option hang them up and steam them. A lot of outlet stores or stores like TJ Max sell hotel quality sheets.
Thank you so much for the tips. Very helpful girl.
When you get the high quality sheets how do you keep them that way after several washes? I’ve found that when I buy expensive sheets They arent as amazing after a while? Maybe I’m not spending enough? Or any hacks?
Yes girl u know your sheets ,percale is the boss ,I got mine from an older aunt ,don't know if they are still in buisness
Can you please demonstrate how to double stuff your comforter? Lots of bloggers talk about it but never show how they do it.
Yes I can definitely do that!!
You can iron on your bed and you won’t melt any of the fibers of your mattress?
I love Vera Wang sheets. 100 % cotton and thick.
My kitchen and then my Bedroom 😍😍😍🤩🤩💯
Great tips, KB!
Thanks so much!!
