The music you add to your videos is beautiful and complement what you are doing; real artistry. Thank you for showing exactly how you plant these. Believe it or not, some of us have never planted lettuce, for example, and really appreciate this. Blessings.
Just when I thought blue was your color you show up with Easter Lavender. I love those shirts. Where did you get them? Hearing the birds was so enchanting. I love the different sounds of birds from the North and South. I cover my garden so I don't end up with all the tree seeds. If anyone is interested that is an option too. Especially on a raised bed. (easier on raised bed)
hi Barbara Kaye,, you look stunning in that lavender colored top and your hair throws back the years " a really pleasant Sunday I'm in Arizona ,,,,, it's calmer here no kitties at the end but BJ was there watchin over you,,,, "Vivaldi"
Hello m'long haired lovely. Swiss chard is one of my favorite greens. Always looked forward to my dad telling me to get some chard for dinner. Do you have a small patch of Oregano? Zero maintenance. Only harvesting requires work. We had colors & smells & felt great when the bees came to "play". Your prep looks 1st cabin. My eyes & good juju on you.💜🌈😍💪☮️🇺🇲
kudos and your 2nd yr onion plants are going to seed. Might be if left to ripen, planted in box, they'll be up before frost next winter and onions' in 2025
First outdoor plantings of the season are always exciting when the weather cooperates! I have celery under cover from winter but was too afraid to look to see if it survived - glad yours looks so lush. Love your shirt too! Hope you have a blessed week...
Oh, the music! That drew me to your channel to begin with! You are not the only one who doesn't have perfection! My gardens have never looked perfect. But they produced--that's all I care about! I'm still gardening indoors! With the exception of some lettuces inside a greenhouse. They are cold hardy lettuces (one is Arctic King!) Everything else is in sunny windowsills. My average first frost date is April 27, although most people around here wait until after Mother's Day (if they can😂). But some things can easily be protected until that date. IVOrganic sent me THREE fig cuttings! I thought that was very generous! I planted them in pots, and they are also on the windowsill. I got two lemon trees sprouted so far! They are so cute! Thank you for bringing us along on your gardening adventure!
Hello there dear kaye, colourful kaye. Oh my you have worked hard again today, you know I found myself saying( perfect) when you uncovered the lovey green in the pots and the pretty dandelion leaves.,its wonderful listening to those beautiful bird song s lso.znd your n delightful chose of music kaye. It rained all day Friday and Saturday we worked in 40 degree weather finishing the greenhouse build. Hated every second of being in that cold, damp, muddy weather. Too wet to plant or till so will wait until this week to till. Supposed to by dry then more rain by Thursday. Would love to get the beets, lettuce and other cool weather crops in the ground soon! That Botanical Interests display is mesmerizing. I can never pass it up without purchasing some packets. Wow! You had those pots under frost cloth the whole winter? They look fantastic! Love the music, Kaye!
Do you use Clyde's garden planner for your planting dates? And what are those pink blossoms on the tree behind you at the end of your video? I know you will probably forget by the time your turnips come on, but perhaps you'll like a turnip au gratin? One of my favorite dishes.
Yahoo, ready to go! I don’t know how you stay nice and tidy in your pretty pastels. I can’t do a thing outside without looking like I rolled in the dirt so I have to dress like a goth.
Hmmm… I was wondering if any of the kitties use your planting beds as …. the potty box? When I was a teen, we had a female black cat, Cleo… she got into everything! I would catch sight of her INSIDE our neighbor’s house (they often left their back door open) staring at me from inside the window, meaning I had to go to their front door, knock, explain our cat was in their house, often Cleo would just run out the door while I was explaining… anyway, Cleo also used her planter boxes outside her living room window as the “potty” … it was awful to walk outside and see her up in there between the flowers my neighbor had just planted. I often heard, “Judy, Judy, come get your cat!” … it was a nightmare for me then, now provides me a good laugh! Your beds are looking good!
QUESTION How long do you think seeds are viable? I won't be growing a large garden because it's only me. That means I'll usually have leftover seeds each year. I feel like they'll probably germinate just fine for at least another year or two. What's your experience been?

Thanks Kaye, great music and inspiration to get out there.

Oh and that comfrey makes a good chop and drop for your fruit trees and makes the best nitrogen fixer as well.
Beautiful seed packet art! I'm out in the garden, vicariously, through you 😉
Looking great on a Sunday Kaye!💜
Good for you! ❤ I think I'll have to wait a few more weeks to plant those, still low 30's here at night and chances of snow.

I think it it 18inches if you are on a farm, not raised beds

The onions are going to seed, those are the beginning of the flower.
Probably the Fordhook was maybe the one I sent you?
My favorite thing about botanicalinterst is the art work on the pack
I've started winter seeding a few weeks ago. What a great way to start seeds. Plant and forget
I'm going to next year!
Love your videos. Love the music
Thanks so much!
Small seeds can be mixed with sand or fertilizer to help with spreading them out. Love your show.
Your onions are going to seed! Use them just like scapes in Garlic!
Great in a stirfry!
That celery looks great. I hope I can grow it someday.
Great video ! everything looks nice 💚The onions are going to seed, the second year that’s the bloom/ scape.
The onion is making a flower stalk.
Ah! Thanks! Why didn't I realize that?
I love all the info on those seed packets! I'll have to order from them from now on.
Hi Kaye, if you check out square foot gardening you can plant more intensely

Well, I clean up a bit for videos, but, if not, I'm the same!

Yes, they do and I shoo them when I see them. Now, instead of 4 out there, there are only 2. Patch inside.
QUESTION

I believe that was a click beetle larvae.
You look far too pretty to be working in the garden. I'd have that lovely shirt/jacket filthy by the time I was done but I can't see a spot on yours!
I wish I could learn your video and edit knowledege ! 🤌🤌
