Good Afternoon 😊 Nice Box Opening 👏🏼👏🏼 Awesome Goodies👌🏽 Beautiful Pipe 😍 Beautiful Fishing Trip 🎣 Can beat a good day on the boat ⛵ Thanks For Sharing your GAW winnings 👍🏼 Have a great day & Greetings From South Africa 🇿🇦
Yes! Especially when it's you and your boat and not a charter service taking you out. A tremendous amount of work to catch fish like that. Thanks for stopping by! Cheers, Andy.
Andy, Looks like you need to hide the pipe 😂. Carolina Rose is a blessing to the community… Great Yabo. Enjoy the goodies. Blessings from Gettysburg Pa…
I might stash it in the closet! 😄 Yep, she is wonderful. A real ambassador for the community. Thanks for the kind words. I hope you have a terrific weekend! Cheers, Andy.
Hiyas Andy, A very nice and generous array of GAW winnings from Carolina Rose, congratulations. You picked up 3 great blends! They are all staples in my tobacco rotation. Well done. St. James Flake is well worth waiting for. 😊 Serene smokes, Gary
Thanks Gary! What an amazing GAW from Rose. She is such a generous person. I'm very much looking forward to opening and trying these blends. I've heard so many good things! I hope you have a great rest of the day. Cheers, Andy.
Hey Andy, I'd recommend jarring up all yours. Is samuel gawith as there tin are notorious for not or become unsealed. Also, I'm not sure how your packing and smoking techniques are developing. Im about 9 months in myself, and i finding less is more when packing my pipes. You can always tamp it down if your draw is too light, but it has helped me get more flavors and less tongue bite. As for packing in and of itself, i find all the packing methods i have reached. i end packing too tight or too heavy, so i i gravity fill little by little and use the weight of my tamper.
I've already jarred up a couple of the tins that I plan to smoke soon. The long-term cellar stuff, I vacuum sealed them and am fairly confident they will be fine for a year, at which point I will open the bags to check them out, then re-seal. As far as my packing technique, I too have found less is more. I Like to over dry my tobacco, pack it light, and then smoke slow. The light pack and dry leaf helps it stay lit, reducing the amount of puffing and therefor oxygen exposure. I find this keeps the smoke cooler and decreases tongue bite. Not sure if this is the correct way, but it has been the best for me so far. I'm sure I'll continue to refine my technique as I become more experienced. I'm still just 1.5 months in to this, and have a lot left to learn. Thank you for the advice. I hope you have a great week. Cheers, Andy.
Wonderful YABO Andy! Such great prizes from Rose🥰 your wife will love that Arcobaleno 606! I have the exact pipe in blue and its a fantastic smoker😁👍see ya on the next one😊 take care!
That looks like a pretty amazing fishing trip! And you even have pictures to prove it! Thanks for sharing! Glad you got the box and I hope you and your wife enjoy the Pipe. If the Tobacco is not up your alley, perhaps she will enjoy it. I didn’t realize she was a pipe smoker too. Any chance she will be on an episode? Did she start smoking the same time you did? Have a fantastic day!
Thanks! I can't wait to try the CBG. I need to get a pipe for it though. Perhaps a Missouri Meerschaum! She likes the aromas more than the tastes. She will smoke a pipe, but it has to taste sweet and mild. Definitely an aromatic girl! Not sure if she will be in a video or not. Maybe! Thank you so much again for all of the gifts. They will be put to good use. Cheers, Andy.
@@Piper_Andy yes, you may want to get a Missouri Meerschaum for the captain black grape. If your wife has not tried molto dolce, she really should! I have not tried the honeydew one that I sent you yet, but I have heard other say it’s very good. I’m not sure how sweet. Thanks for the shout out and nice YABO. It was fun to watch! Have a wonderful wonderful day!
@@carolinarose704Hi Carolina Rose! I believe Andy and I watched one of your videos together of you smoking a molto dolce and I mentioned wanting to try that blend☺️
I don't think you need to get so caught up on aging everything. It's nice to have some stuff stocked in the cellar but it's all really good fresh too! lol
For me it's to get an idea of the difference between fresh and aged Virginias and Virginia heavy blends. The stuff that really shines when it has some age on it, I'll stock up on heavily. Thanks for stopping by and for your comment. Cheers, Andy.
That's great to hear! I'm really excited to try it. The hardest part about getting all of these different tobacco blends is having the restraint to wait to open them. 😄 Cheers!

Thank you my friend. I hope you're doing well in SA. Cheers, Andy.
Great fish. Ppl don’t realize the amount of work that goes into bringing big fish in. Nice win in the giveaway. Have a good weekend.

Some solid blends there.
I've heard great things about them, so hopefully they stand up to the hype. Thanks for commenting. Have a great week.
