Recipes for kids. Hedgehog of Pear and Grapes.
Hello everybody.
Today we are going to make a funny hedgehog of a pear and grapes for kids. Let your piccaninny (child) smile widely and eat it with pleasure.
For making the hedgehog we’ll need:
Elongated variety of pear: Bartlett, Bosc, Concorde or similar
Green seedless grapes
One olive
Two kernels of clove
Wooden toothpicks
Two sharp knives.
First make a knife cut on the bottom of the pear so that the pear stand firmly on the dish.
Then make a shallow incision all around the pear, and remove all the skin from stem to the cut.
Remove a part of the stem.
A little refine the edge of the pear.
Cut a slice of the olive. The nose is done. Such a nice little nose.
Take the kernels of clove and make eyes.
Take a toothpick, thread a grape on it and insert it into the pear.
Do the same with more grapes all over the unpeeled surface of the pear.
And - here we are! Such a nice prickly hedgehog.
I’m sure your kid will love the hedgehog.
Don’t forget that pear and grapes contain a lot of vitamins.
And Ops! There comes our hedgehog with his lemon mouse friend.
