You should play normal deep rock galactic with delirious squirrel and kyle, you could even compare it to helldivers in a way with all the alien bug killing

@@harbinjerj4985 I'm here to tell your opinion is fucking wrong! DRG and Helldivers are both great games. DRG is super fun in its own way and has the same "style" as Helldivers 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Darktide, etc. Lots of games have that 4 man gameplay loop.

GG Toonz. the turrets do kinda suck balls but they can have a really nice tier 3 overclock at lvl 18 which gives 150% fire rate. but even then it had trouble killing enemies.

Toonz! a couple of fun facts in case you haven’t figured it out by now. you do actually still place turrets while moving but only after the slots are full. as for the little dots that change in the weapons bar, those dots are how many attributes each weapon shares with each other which makes it easier when your going for any sort of specific build.

I don’t know how many people know this but in helldivers 2 you can hold the reload button and you get options to change magnification for sights some have flashlights you can turn on and some you can change the fire rate but for the railgun it goes from safe to unsafe
would love to see you and the lads play regular deep rock, so much content in that game ROCK AND STONE!
Love it when Toonz finds a game he gets so deep into he forgets to record, it's nice to see him enjoy games for himself and then share
So, toonzy, what you weren't seeing/understanding was the synergy between the weapons. Those dots above your current weapons when you were choosing new ones were where there was synergistic overlap with the weapon types. Each time your turret had three of those dots it was because the weapon you were hovering over was also a turret, and had 2 other type synergies. I'm betting the engineer is supposed to be run entirely with turrets.

You should play the FPS original with Delirious, Kyle, and Squirrel
I think the difficulty you were having with the engineer is twofold: one, you may want to consider the strategy of kiting in a big fart circle and circling back around to your xp, two, I noteced several points where you were complaining about DPS, but had a full set of turrets to drop for 30 sec or so. That’s just my constructive observations. Either way, enjoyed this vid, thanks for the upload. :-)

your only issue is that you worried strictly about level instead of damage since that's the one thing you did, you didn't realize all those level you got for the most part was reload speed and not damage.
I've been loving this too!! Few tips: those white bulbs on some rocks are Einor Pearls, one of the upgrade materials you need, and are already super rare like in the base game, so grab em when you see em!! Also, those big bugs that don't attack you are loot bugs; they have gold and nitra inside!!
I've found a good strategy early game is to invest in mining and speed upgrades. If you can dig fast and outrun the boss, you can avoid killing it and keep playing the level. The longer you play the level, the more XP you can farm, the better you can make your guns or the faster you can run and dig.

Huge Deep Rock Galactic fan, had no idea this was a thing, definitely picking this one up. Looks super fun!
I love how they went from 3 beams for the puke acid gun to 5 directly and skipped the 4 beam mode to avoid cartoons running around with a green swastika xD
I definitely think you and the rest of the guys would enjoy Deep Rock. It is a lot more fun when playing with friends. Especially if everyone takes a different class. Not to mention, you can drink beer before a mission
As you probably already know, Toonz, this is the second game from the Deep Rock Galactic franchise. Made by Coffee Stain studios, Deep Rock Galactic features Multiplayer Rogue-like gameplay as you and up to three other dwarves explore, and mine out Hoxxes, facing hordes of hostile flora and fauna. The game has gotten fantastic live service over the years and is both well with the price, and doesn't feature a ridiculous in game market, 95% of all the cosmetics and upgrades you unlock will be natural through the game progression, with a small handful of cool cosmetic bundles for purchase. But you could never spend a dime past the box price and still very much feel like your drawf has DRIP. If you liked DRG Survivor, I highly, HIGHLY recommend the OG game with the gang. Rock and Stone, Toonz, Rock and Stone

It's pretty cool. The take these 2 studios decided to go for their games. I'm delighted with the risks taking these studios made and i honestly believe it paid off for both of them 🙌

Btw fun $25 steam game you can duo in called robo quest. Summary: borderlands mixed with that ember knight game you played a bit ago. Upgrades, perks, and weapons, different classes after unlocking and hard as hell even on standard .
Probably figured by the time I make this comment btu the turrets let you focus on mining/farming. It's fine to drop a load of them periodically as you go, but if you stop moving when begin to mine a node they'll all poop out and defend you while you work.
Standing still sucks, but watch for the reload bar on the turrets to know when you actually need to stop. Also, since they are a duration based weapon, reload allows you to spawn them faster and fire rate makes them shoot faster without any magazine count to worry about. Damage bonus is good, of course, but I think they're better if you focus on the reload and ROF.
Level Engineer should be fine on Hazard 2 until the final boss. Biggest problem I have with the turrets, they're very hard to use effectively against the behemoth.
From Helldivers to This is like going backwards.
You have got to stop running at literally the last second. You kept getting yourself some distance and then just standing still until you're getting swarmed from both sides

It would be cool if they only fired when enemies in sight and allow you to fire as well. Some of these get hard as HELL
