I've said this prayer countless times while in rehab in San Antonio TX. Working the AA big book. Today.. The 25th of February is my sobriety date. I have four years sober. Blessings all!
I know I might be going a bit over the top with this but let me say: The serenity prayer has more to it than I was taught and I wish I had been taught the full segment. I was taught that the smallest individual parts of the universe were the proton the neutron and the electron. I just wish when I was taught that I knew that there was more to the world than we were taught. I graduated high school in 2015. At this time, subatomic particles were known and proven. Yet they still taught us just partial truth. I just really wish that teachers, which we all are in some way, would tell us that this is just the beginning of the truth. And not the whole truth.
