I was behind Simon for the last few minutes but was there for most of the show. The security and police kept moving the crowd but Simon and Phil handled it with class. I'm glad I got to be a part of one of these live shows. I'm seen a bunch of people online say the crowd was dead but it didn't feel that way being in the arena.

I think WWE had to turn off the mics for Backlash. That crowd was nuts in a good way😂. But yeah, the fake crowd noise in WWE is just jarring.

Overall aew double or nothing was good. Both main events were amazing. The four pillars match was good and the anarchy in the arena was good.

I'd honestly be a little pissed if TK didn't. AEW started from the indie scene and support of hardcore wrestling fans, Simon is one of us. It would be a missed opportunity if they didn't include our dude at Wembley. One thing is for sure though, if he does make an appearance at Wembley, the pop will be MASSIVE

These videos are amazing! I always look forward to Ups and Downs. Honestly, if AEW and WWE were smart, they’d let him do this on their shows or allow him to tape the episodes at the events.
Yea I’m sure he’d be able to stay totally unbiased if the company he criticizes often hired him.
I said the same. His love for wrestling he should be allowed to do back room interviews or be more involved. He is the only one form whatculture I watch.

There really isnt anything like Wrestling crowds ..its special, everyone is literally just having a great time, where as other sporting events theres "always something on the line" and its way less fun a crowd

Me and my older brother watched the payperview and we enjoyed it. The trios title match, the 4 pillars match for the title, and the anarchy in the arena match were the matches we enjoyed the most. Kris Statlander's return was something we never saw coming and when she beat Jade for the tbs title we were like "What?" Lol, now we're looking forward to seeing what happens next.

It was such an incredible night. I flew in from Dallas for my first AEW ppv. I wasn't a fan of the build but AEW always puts on tremendous ppvs. The world title match was perfect, everyone played their role perfectly
This was 30minutes long and I enjoyed every minute !!! STATLANDER STATLANDER STATLANDER!!!

I resubscribed because of these crowd videos with Simon. These are the best videos I’ve seen in the IWC in a long, long time.
We all need more of Simon's positivity, such a rare ray of light on the usually whiny and angry internet. It's great to see the love he gets from the live crowds too!
Overall it was a nice show: it had not the most explosive start - especially for AEW ppvs (high) standards, but the latter part surely delivered, especially the double main-event. The only disappointing match for me was the women's world title, but if Hayter is legitimately injured I understand why to get more of an extended angle to protect her, rather than having the title vacated - and the title with the Outcast can be interesting. Surprise of the night Statlander's win, but again I guess it was a good way to protect Jade (2nd match of the night, no time to prepare) while getting rid of her streak that by now had nothing left to say.

She definitely does. I wish more wrestlers would interact at the live ups and downs recordings after a PPV. It makes these videos just that little bit sweeter and wholesome too.

Any chance there will ever be studio versions of Ups and Downs to go with the outside ones? As someone who is hearing impaired, it's very hard to understand Simon over all the background noise, and YT closed-captioning just can't keep up. My big critique on this AEW PPV was it really just feels like a really, really good Dynamite episode...when WWE does PLEVs the product value seems to go up a lot...whereas production on this felt about the same. The exceptions would be MJF's entrance and Jade's entrance.

Greatest ups and downs ever
It's funny to me that people complain about the randomness of the Jarrett/Lethal faction, but it makes perfect sense. Besides the big guy, it's pretty much a TNA faction.
