That is a great idea, theres a lot of additional things I wanted to do, but I had to cut it all back so I could get them done I fixed the charge problem by using 1s 750mah battery that lasted 3.5 hours, which gave enough use time to run the whole day with 2 sets of robots. A wireless charge pad is a good idea but it would need to be the whole arena, as they basically didnt stop being driven for 8 hours
This is so cool. I have thought it would be cool to have something like this. If there is one thing i would change, i would add some beefier batteries to tho robots.
I used 1s 750mah batteries as I wanted them to last as long as possible, They lasted 3.5 hours on a charge, which was enough as I had 2 copies of each so I could easily cover the full day with them
I left myself the option to, but the venue was lit well enough that it wasnt an option I think if I was going to do this again I'd do an acrylic back and top to increase light and visibility
Now add wireless charging, so they either park in designated spot to charge or under the whole arena

@@TeamPanicRobotics yeah big battery a simpler option!
I can't wait to have a play with this thing at Havoc!
Hats off to you for your perseverance on this project.
What a fantastic project. Alas, I have only one 'like' to give.
Glad you like it!
These were so great to have at Havoc - they were basically used all day long and worked a treat. What a great job!
It kinda reminds me of playing games at Walmart before buying them. Or in my case, playing them at Walmart because my family couldn't afford them.
That's so professional looking!
This is a super cool idea. Great work! You should definitely make this open source or sell the joysticks/electronics.
Such an awesome job. Saw them in action yesterday and seemed to be super popular 👍
People seemed to love them! they where pretty busy all day
Awesome project! This concept is really inspiring. There’s so much potential for arcade style robotics!
Thanks! Might have to release more info so other people can make them too
We'll be at Science Alive on Saturday. The kids are going to love this!
Seriously impressive work here! ❤

If the last robot isn’t PacMan I’ll be very disappointed
What an awesome idea! It's like a "little library" but for robots. Go try out a robot before building your own. When I grow up I want to be like you.
Thanks! yeah, I really wanted to give people a chance to try robots out, they seemed to be a big hit
I want one in my living room💛💛💛
The best home decor!
This is the best thing ever, love it
Amazing work, that's an incredible build.
I assume there will be some lights that go in the top bit of the arena so it's a bit better lit?
I left myself the option to, but the venue was lit well enough that it wasnt an option

Really well made video!
That is awesome, im sure it will be a hit..
They where! they got used solidly all weekend
YEAH!
That's really cool!
I saw in the comments of your previous video on the arcade robots that you were considering releasing the pcb design files. Any update on that?
Still a maybe
I'll do an update video on how these went at the event before the end of the month, I'll discuss my plans in that
Inky, Pinky, Blinky, and Clyde?
i want one so bad
They are a lot of fun,
I'm trying to work out if I've got space in my house to set one up permanently
