As a young person with no direction its inspiring to see someone succeed especially at a young age like Maya. Usually I would be a bit jealous but I don't have a shred of jealousy when thinking about what she accomplished. She is so driven it inspires me. Good luck to her and the whole team.

Cool that Maya is so hands on with the organization, probably makes it way easier to work for her. She seems super passionate about Alveus and it shows by how much Kayla, Connor, and Ella respect her.
People protect what they love, they love what they understand, and they understand what they've been taught... dang that's a deep insight into humanity, and not just in regards to conservation.

so proud of this, ive been volunteering at a sanctuary in australia for the last 2 years and its the best decision ive ever made, so thank you for giving the animals a place to call home and allowing people like us to support and do somthing for those animals. so glad one of the content creators ive known about for a while now turned out to be an amazing human with an amazing team
The people who volunteer at sanctuaries and shelters are the salt of the earth. So thank you!

This is honestly motivating me to do something with animals in the future. I'm just 19 right now, but my absolute dream would be to work with animals for the rest of my life, and this is really helping me. I don't know what and how to yet, I probably even need to study something different first to make sure I can live a stable life in the future but I will see. Thank u guys so much for the effort you put in to caring for these animals, it's amazing.
Working with animals won't make you money, but it might make the animals happy.

something i learned is that volunteer work is so so important in this field, so its good to start that asap

First time seeing this! Seeing smaller Winnie and Stompy too! I saw a video of Stompy when he was really small in the house with Maya, but not these shots. Maya is amazing and so are all the people that work with her. Cannot wait to see the future of Alveus!

What a wonderful idea, I'm glad it came to fruition and enriches the lives of not only the animals that find sanctuary in Alveus but the people that work there to make it a sanctuary too.
Now because of it's success it also enriches the wider world with education and feel goods.
My manager and CEO at the Wildlife rehabiliation centre I work at could really learn a lot from you Maya. With you being so so much younger than them, just makes it all the more impressive. So inspiring to hear that you founded Alveus at 22 years of age! Congratulations, it seems like your hard work has really paid off !!
