I daily my 99 gs400, 100+ miles everyday for the last year. Never gives me any problems even with 237k. Definitely the best car I've ever had! I love my GS❤
I just ordered a 1998 Toyota Aristo from Japan with only 53k miles. It's going to be my new daily. I'm excited to get it. Should be getting it in December

Found a great deal on a titanium silver ‘02 GS430 with black interior and I must say.. this car a rare gem in a class of its own. Hope for many years with it.
I daily a pearl white 00'GS300 and i absolutely love this car. Ive owned the IS300, a E46 328i 5spd, a RB20 swapped S13 hatch, n honestly the GS300 is my favorite out of them all
couple of things to change: the lexus has multilink suspension at the back, not double wishbone. the 'premium' sound system offered was mark levinson, later made standard on facelift models. the cd changer has only 6 cd slots. the gs400 was built in the uzs160 body style, not the jzs160 body style (whatever that means) the 'turbo' model, only known as the toyota aristo, was only offered in japan, not outside of japan, under the jzs161 chassis, modelled as vertex v300.
you have to do a lot more than that on a 1uz to reliable hold power and is also much more expensive and complicated to put a turbo than a 2JZ even if its not a GTE.

Are you on stock suspension and have you ever changed the ball joints or know if its been changing ?
@@diegohernandez8135 it's on coilovers, and I just changed the ball joints 2 weeks ago. Idk if they were ever changed before that.

Im currently upgrading bushings all around and some suspension parts to feel like a new car, love my GS300 as a daily. Best daily I've ever had.

Daily driving a 2000 GS400 since 2010, drives like new, interior is still perfect.

Hidden potential: change out the rods and the GS400’s 1UZ is good for 550whp.
Fun fact: 1UZ is lighter and fits closer to the firewall then a 2Jzgte.
