Do you remember the Sleeper system from SVR 2006? That was really cool.
Hopefully they didn't also change the submission mini game to all buttons. For the button smash one. Which should honestly be the only one. They changed about 45 button controls. I wouldn't doubt it

Alot of these animations feel like they would benefit from being slowed down a bit.

FINALLY!!! A damn stunner that looks good & the person just falls to their back instead of having a stupid animation or taunt with it!
The RayeZ Revolution well that’s fashioned after the generic stunner Kevin OWENS performs. Steve Austin will perform a taunt after his stunner. That’s represents of his style and the wrestlers who sold the move at the time.. The animators just captured it like they see it.

Is it me or are the animations a bit faster and smoother than they have been? Ever since a leak seen lady night I have been seeing how quick and smooth things are and that continues here. Also wanted to say something positive since just like every year, there is negativity.
The one thing I can admit is that 2K is really good at adding new moves in comparison to older games.
The only thing I really liked was Sasha's new bank statement. I've been waiting for them to add a more brutal looking variation.

No new animation for curb stomp this year
Doesnt really need one , we desperately needed one in 2015 so 2K16 fixed that , i believe its fine
@@BITW101 It's garbage lmao, the only reason you like it is because they kept the same running animation so it seems like you're playing a game but it's really just another cutscene. The curb stomp is one of those moves that can come out of nowhere, and the current setup is about 2 seconds long so noooope.
Revolt Ter Thats not why i like it , i find it smoother compared to 2K14/15’s curb stomp in my opinion , i actually prefer different running animations like in past games

The actual moves themselves look great, and wide bunch here which is cool. Only thing I don’t like is how long the setup is for some of these. That poison rana feels like it takes ages to pull off
There are moves that I didn't expect to see like the Bro Dereks and Kamigoye (which is named Kamigoye 1, so where's 2? 🤔), but they missed the Powerbomb + Knee Strike that both Buddy Murphy and Matt Riddle uses, but who knows, maybe it's a OMG move (like the Powerbomb + Boston Crab). Btw, did they really remove Create a Championship?
It'll be patched in later.
2k just confirmed that CAC will be patched post launch. I really wanted to start off with a good universe mode but that actually annoyed me so I might wait it out until future patches, dlcs and updates are out.
I saw the Kamigoye 2 in another video. Its pretty much the same, its just a kneeling grapple move. And i seen all the OMG moves. There's a new avalanche poison rana and spanish fly OMG. But thats it. Im really disappointed in no Powerbomb + knee strike move.

Last year Smacktalks made a 30-minute video on all the new moves. This year we got 12 minutes of new moves. They seem to have gone all-out on getting the women involved in a 20-hour MyCareer mode this year lmaooo, everything else appears to be the same.
