Came here after watching the doc you made on the Warsaw uprising. I couldn't finish but I couldn't look. I teared up hearing the tales especially the ones of the civilians put in front of the tanks as a human shield. A generation like no other. Thank you for your service and lots if love from Ireland 🇮🇪 🤝 🇵🇱
Thank you, Patrick, for bringing the uprising and its courageous participants to our attention. Your coverage of the anniversary events and introduction to heroes like Bohdan has reignited my interest in further educating myself about those days 75 years ago. It's almost too painful to look at the photos of the destruction and to read about the viciousness of the Germans who ordered, engineered and participated in the vengeful annihilation of Warsaw.

All your films bring memory of my parents who spent 6 years in occupied Warsov. Thanks God they survived Warsov Rising, but my sister who was 3 yrs old and some family members didn't😢.
I was told so many stories by my parents about life in occupied Warsov, ghetto that sometimes I feel like I was there😞. It is and will be part of me for the rest of my life!!!

W tym roku bedac na pl. zamkowym na "zywym symbolu Powstania Warszawskiego" udalo mi sie przebic do pani sanitariuszki z Powstania i jej podziekowac. Podziekowac za ich wszystkich odwage, determinacje i nadzieje niesioną w sercach i w nogach, ktore ich niosly w ich wyobrazeniu po zwyciestwo. CZEŚĆ I CHWAŁA BOHATEROM !!! Powinni pozostac na zawsze w naszej pamieci, jako ich spadkobierców, albowiem "Naród, który nie szanuje swej przeszłości nie zasługuje na szacunek teraźniejszości i nie ma prawa do przyszłości." marszałek J.Piłsudcki
