Glad I went back and watched the beginning, just so cool to see this abandoned town with all the things that were left behind to rot away with time. Thank you for taking us through this gem from the past!
I found the abandoned town interesting ❤. Love the old stuff and items, history of these times and places. Thanks for your time and the video. 😊 Thanks for the back stories also.
So many awesome things to see in this ghost town. I loved the camper! If i remember correctly, i think the half circle metal ring on the Fury's steering wheel was actually the horn. Amazing how things have changed in automobiles. Thanks for sharing this incredible place James!!
Hi James You always find the coolest locations. All of these homes and cars seen better days. I couldn’t believe you walked thru some of them. I was worried for your safety James. Is that farm still being worked. It looked all dried up and dead. A very interesting and enjoyable Static Space. Thank you for bringing us along on this adventure.👍🆒 It’s a ghost town but we didn’t see any ghosts.👻👁️LOL!!!!
Ya, this place has been abandoned for a long time and nature is taking over. Yes, all the farm fields are active. Everything looked dead because this was in the fall...also, it's a semi-arid climate, so almost desert like and they don't get a lot of rain there. So glad you enjoyed it Irene and thanks very much for your comment!!
It's really cool to see an actual ghost town! I thought the camper was really cool with the vintage televisions in it! My favorite part was the 1968 Plymouth Fury! What a cool old car. Thanks for bringing us this one. We really enjoyed it! 👍
Ya, we don't get too many places like this near me, so it was a real treat. I really liked that camper too. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks a lot for your comment!!
Oh my god, i forgot to leave a comment for this!! Loved how the drone shots added to the 'middle of nowhere' atmosphere of this place which really makes you consider how isolated they must've been when the place was thriving, and it's interesting to see the village slowly returning to being farm land again, which is a nice change from the places that you explore back home!
That's ok, lots of people who come to the premiere, forget. It certainly was in the middle of nowhere, can you imagine living there 100 years ago!? Glad you enjoyed it and thanks a lot for your comment!!
Thank you Static Spaces for visiting my backyard. This is about 1.5 hours southeast of me. So neat. The cars were awesome. Again an awesome explore and amazing work. Big hugs😊😊
I liked that area a lot actually, it's almost a desert, so it made for a very enjoyable explore. Didn't like all the cracks I got in my windshield though! 😂 Glad you enjoyed it Kimmy and thanks a lot for your comment!!
That car I think is most likely Canadian made if it's pre 1975, before Canada switched to metric from imperial. It would show miles not km. Just a thought. Also, I appreciate the drone footage, it gives a different perspective of how it was set up. The land looks fertile and capable of sustaining crops. I wonder why everyone left. James, you did a great job showcasing this town. But it's just a little sad to see everything in such ruins. So many people lived their lives in this town. All with dreams and hope for a future and then nothing...
Great video ❤ If the walls could talk what a story we would hear!! I enjoyed walking through the buildings and looking at the cars❤ A beautiful price of property and your pictures were great!!!! It would be fun to restore an old camper like that!!!!! Did I understand it was a railroad town? Thanks again for a great adventure!! Pam❤️❤️
So there is a whole subculture of people that like to restore old airstreams and from what I have learned it's quite expensive. I don't think that one was an airstream but it does give you an idea of what it might take. Either way, it would be amazing to have one of those! Really glad you enjoyed it Pam and thanks very much for your comment!!
@ you are very welcome ❤️I’ve been interested in retro campers for a long time ❤️. I just haven’t found the right one for me yet 😂. They are really hard to find around here.
Well Canada was switching to metric system in 1970. And totally switched in 1975. Just looked it up. So that car that was in miles . Those cars were in the 1960s and 1970s still in miles
Yes, someone else mentioned that as well and that definitely explains it...didn't realise our change was that recent. Thank you very much for your comment!!
Salut James ! Great quality as usual, the images are beautiful ! Merci beaucoup ! (Since i watched your video, i have been humming” Ghost town ”of the Specials !😂)
My 2023 Ford truck has a steering column shifter but they are becoming fewer and fewer like this..I hate those new little tuning style knob gear selectors…their just not manly at all 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh really eh, that's surprising for a 2023....mind you I have never owned a pickup. I'm with you on the knob gear selectors, I don't like them at all. Thanks very much for your comment!!
Yes, around that time. In another video, I had heard that there was one man who stayed into the 90s, maybe one of these was his home. Thanks very much for your comment!!

Very cool 😎👍 love the history
Glad you liked it and thanks a lot for your comment!!
what a large yard, i love this place seems so convinient 😘
Well it is what remains of the town, so I think there were at least 3 properties here. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks a lot for your comment!!

Five decades and still counting in the US.

A Vauxhall Victor estate in Canada must be very rare ?
Could be, I had to look up what that was. 😂 Thanks very much for your comment!!

Hope to see you there for the premiere!!
I can hardly wait James.
Glad to hear it Irene, see you there!
The cars is from the early 60:s to early 70:s so people must have lived there until atleast the 70:s ??
