That book is very powerful, a lesson i took from there is if you can't adjust to new settings you'll die (Okonkwo kept on resisting change from the moment he killed that young boy to the moment he killed that man leading to his suicide) and never under estimate nor over estimate your enemy (the villagers thought giving the white man a cursed land will bring them victory that didn't happen they thought a white man is powerful so they gave in
